Books in German about the real Obama

Posted on 04/20/2013 7:52:33 AM PDT by A'elian' nation

I have friends and relatives in Germany that just do not know the true story of Barack Hussein Obama.

I go on Amazon.de and the only books about the guy are all lavish encomiums, books from the left, or his own two books written by Bill Ayres.

Are there any conservative books written in German that anyone knows about? Is there a German version of Dinesh d"Souza's film or book?

Appreciate your help. Thanks

What about Kindle books? Are they available in German?

Try “The Communist Manifesto” by Karl Marx.

I would just send the D’Sousa’s film. If they need somebody to translate it, I’m sure that they know somebody who speaks English.

They all understand English over there, if they are Osties under 40 or Westerners under 80. A lot of them aren’t comfortable speaking English, but they can understand spoken and written English as well as the average US high schooler.

My uncle and aunt do not speak English and they live near Munich ( yeah where Mein Kampf was written ironically ).

I think it would help them to understand Obama better if they could read a book about him from the conservative viewpoint - the real facts about him.

Hard to figure out how 80 to 90 percent of Germans like this guy but then there are no books in German with the truth.

I’ve checked Kindle no books on Obama in German with our point of view.

Maybe I should have posted “Manifest der Kommunistischen Partei?” It's supposed to be German after all.

That is not true. I have been there and met many people of all ages who do not speak/read/know English.

It’s taught in school - in some places, they start in elementary school. They know it, but if they don’t have jobs that require regular interaction in the language, they aren’t comfortable with it. Even the Turkish kids know English.

There is a difference between understanding and getting by in a language and reading a book in a different language.

I can get by when I visit Germany, but I struggle with German newspapers and books; as I am sure Europeans who may understand rudimentary English struggle with English newspapers and novels.

I found the most English conversant people are the Belgians. The Germans not so much.

If there were books written in German about what a phony Obama is, I know it would be easier for Germans to read such a book in Deutsch than trying to read it in English.
