"Walking Dead Season 4 it seems could be in for a ton of shocking twists one of which will no doubt **** fans and in my humble view unsettle the entire show. AMC’s The Walking Dead has continued to smash ratings records and draw in fans by the millions and it does this with an outstanding cast of characters but can the show go on and succeed with its leading man?

Robert Kirkman answered a pile of fan questions about the series and Season 4 of The Walking Dead and one really struck a note with me which was will Rick Grimes survive? Robert Kirkman responded to the question by saying that Rick Grimes was not out-of-bounds and we can expect his death at almost any point so don’t rule it out........"

"He also goes on to say that he would like to see Daryl, Maggie or Glen step up and take the leadership role from Rick Grimes.

I am a huge Daryl fan and think that the character has evolved immensely but Daryl needs a character like Rick Grimes to balance the group and Glen or Maggie do not offer that. Glen and Maggie also do not offer much as far as a true leadership role goes and should Rick Grimes die I think its safe to say the group would turn to Daryl before Maggie or Glen. Do I think they will kill off Rick Grimes in Season 4 of The Walking Dead? I sure as hell hope not and I honestly do not believe they are that stupid.

Robert Kirkman seems to think the show and the ‘group’ can survive without Rick Grimes saying as much in an interview on the AMC Blog As far as ‘killing off characters including Rick Robert Kirkman says the actors are consulted in the process....."

I don’t think they’ll kill Rick. Maybe put someone else into the leadership position and give him less of a role but not kill him.

Yeah, it’s not gonna happen. Every time someone’s death is speculated about it doesn’t happen.

The book to me evolved to be as much about Carl as Rick. I could see the show moving to Carl as a leader if Rick goes.

Daryl takes over as leader?

Daryl would be too constrained if he was the leader. He'd had to think about the entire group before making a decision, and that would hinder his taking immediate action as he now does. So, I think it would slow down the action and there would be more talking.

I read the Walkers were going to become more of a problem so maybe there will be new ways to stop them. Since I have a long machete now, I can lop off heads myself.

Isn’t “hints at Rick’s death” a spoiler? I expect spoilers elsewhere and I avoid reading such stories on ew, zap2it, tvguide.

I might have missed an episode but did they ever reveal why the Governor had all those heads in those big jars?

He was a sociopath and they were his trophies.
Simple as that.

I run hot and cold with Rick. But I think I would miss
him if he were gone.

He would be a much better character if he had a sense of humor.

I love what they’re doing with Carl. A couple of seasons ago I was hoping he’d get bit by a walker, being such an annoying little punk. But he’s become a true child of the apocalypse. The scene where he put his mother down to keep her from turning gave me chills.

Without HBO, what else are you going to watch at night before you go to bed?

Maybe it is just me; but, I think keeping heads in jars in your living area kind of takes you past sociopath into psychopath territory.

Why in the world would you put the actual spoiled in the title and THEN add the words “spoiler”?

It is my wife’s pet peeve that I won’t watch TV in bed before we go to sleep. I usually line up a show on my DVR and then watch back to back episodes. I’m into TOSH.0, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Weeds, Dr. Who, The Vikings, and kind of liked SCYFY’s Defiance. Well, enough about me...................
