SEQUESTRATION. That’ll be the excuse. DC is acting like they are the first organization on earth to ever cut back a few pennies.

I was always able to access it before. Now when I put my name and password in, it doesn’t work.

Bingo. Just like the air traffic system suddenly is all screwed-up today. It's on to the next foot-stomping tantrum for Obama.

Sequestration is Newspeak for governmental incompetence.

Why bother? Whatever the statement says, you’re going to get less when the time comes (assuming you’re under 50). Them’s the breaks.

Mine works and it’s pretty convenient if you forgot your username or password.

Thanks but I haven't been able to create an account. There was incorrect information in my Experian credit report which led to me trying and failing to create an account three times. That resulted in me being locked out of creating an account on-line. I've gone to the (not so) local Social Security office to create an account there but that failed due to some software issue. I've been instructed to go to the office again to create an account but, as they say, "fool me once...."

I can't wait until there's a massive government bureaucracy controlling whether or not I can get antibiotics for a life threatening infection.

I’ve had no problem creating an account.
However back in March I applied for benefits (and Medicare) starting in May and nothing is happening.

I’m gonna have to go down to the office and wait in line with the disability seekers.

I just tried creating an account now and it worked. I should’ve posted on FR about this six months ago!
