hahahaha! poor guy! how awful...
lolol....I wonder what got to this guy? He wasn’t even cued yet to introduce himself and all of a sudden “F@#king S#it!!”
FCC says it’s ok if your heart s in the right place - cf. David Ortiz, Boston Red Sox
The state of “Journ-O-Lism” in the US!
Dude, go back to WVA and get a degree in “hard science studies”.
I think he said he was having a ‘sucking fit’, but my hearing ain’t so well.
A good rule of thumb is that if you have a camera pointed at you or a microphone in front of you, never say anything you wouldn’t want made public. Time and time again, people get caught saying or doing embarassing things because they thought the camera or microphone wasn’t on.
If David Ortiz can get away with it, why not?
he’s been fired
It’s like a FAIL wrapped inside a bigger FAIL, then covered with extra FAIL.....
that’s why broadcast careers start off in Bismarck and not in New York or Chicago.
I appears this was his first broadcast.
He stumbles over his words anyway. WORST ANCHOR EVER!
If only the newbie had dropped the words “Bush/Cheney” at the end, he’d still have a job.
I remember some of the newbies at my hometown tv station in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Some years ago one of the baby newsreaders was stumbling over the news, and he came to a certain word....yacht....which he had obviously never seen before. He stared at the word for a few seconds and then pronounced it YATCHED. I don’t recall him having a long career at the station.
Also, Alberghetti was apparently the first actress in a Broadway musical to use a body mike during a performance. During one performance, the actress exited on cue and had two minutes until she reappeared, bee-lining for the ladies room. However, this particular time the actress forgot to turn off her microphone, so during the middle of the show the audience heard the sound of streaming water followed by an unceremonious flush (which in itself was followed by Algerghettis re-entry). The audience was beside itself with laughter, but thats the beauty of live theatre
Read this story decades ago. The bathroom noises were described more graphically. It took a few for the audience to figure out exactly what the noises were. Story said she got a standing O when she took the stage again.

I suppose he will soon be sent off to a frigid outpost where he will never be seen again.
Wait a minute . . .
The bad language aside, he was terrible. Poor enunciation, monotonous tone and a boring delivery do not make for a successful TV anchor.
Because it wasn't that he said F@#king S#it!!
He said "Gay F@#king S#it!
And that's all she wrote for his on-air career.
That said, if you are going to crash and burn as a weekend anchor in Bismarck, ND, might as well go out as a YouTube sensation.
Not very good even with the mistake.Pull it together man.Lost good money.
Yea for all your kids to see just like the Phillies and the World Series.I walked out of a 76 sixer game when the half time was Rap with F words.Had my 10 year old son.Called Management the next day and they sent us free tickets.Never went back.
