Fox News Channels coverage of the bombing at the Boston Marathon last week propelled the network to the top of the cable rankings for the first time in nearly a decade.

Congrats Fox. You made it to the top of the (dung) heap.
Now quit scrubbing stories regarding Obama and the Saudi and maybe - one day - you will be worth a damn.
MSNBC was dead last.
My wife had Fox News on in the backround until I heard Martha MacCallum claim she heard the sound of a gunshot.I turned the TV off at that point.
“Rival cable news network MSNBC was 19th in the cable primetime ranking with 923,000 viewers on average over the week and 16th in the total day ranking with 578,000.”
But their viewers still saw their Marxist Leader win last November, which proves largely that the Marxist’s supporters don’t bother with any type of information.
Sound of a gunshot? What gunshot?
I guess Comcast doesn’t care about ratings or viewership, otherwise you would think they might begin to change that hard left lineup they have on MSNBC. I thought GE was bad when they owned them, but Comcast appears to be no better.
Any word, yet, on why Todd Starnes' story was pulled from the Fox or Townhall sites? Strange.
If some or part of the info was incorrect, seems like they'd of posted a "correction"... and not completely pull the story.
To the dismay of some on this board. LOL. Fox reports the news straightforward news with a right slant. It’s not their job to be treating birther or Saudi conspiracy theories as news.
I’m sure some Saudi prince (the one Obammmie bowed to?) called Prince Alwaleed (Fox News owner) and poof!
Down the rabbit hole.
I watched Fox because as some one said above, the best of the dung heap (that’s not a compliment). The Boston police scanner was my real go-to in this case.
Fox’s low point in this was after No. 2 was “captured”, one of their reporters called it a victory for Pres Obama. The cat jumped when I yelled at my TV
The high point was lots of Molly Line. But should I be really watching news for the chicks? Ok, maybe to see if Shemp will cry....
No kidding. Fox made number 1 after it failed to get its candidate Mittens into the White House, and none of them ever apologized for their call on the milquetoast candidate. Bunch of RINO shills.
I hope Martha is OK.....she’s inspirational to 49 year old women
The lowest ranked network channel gets better ratings on its news program than Fox and all of its cable news rivals put together. Fox News’s #1 cable news ranking is a lot like being the #1 Minor League team. I wish it were otherwise, but reality keeps on intruding.
Here in the Boston viewing area the local CBS affiliate(WBZ) was actually the best coverage by far. I kept switching between them and FOX.
I really do like watching Molly Line. It does not matter what she is talking about.
Any FReeper please post Molly’s pic.
Wow, she is smokin
and the nice part is she's a damn good reporter too, not a blonde anchor bubble head like many of the Fox foxes.
