'We have established that the genetic foundations for modern Europe were only established in the Mid-Neolithic, after this major genetic transition around 4000 years ago,' says Dr Haak.

'This genetic diversity was then modified further by a series of incoming and expanding cultures from Iberia and Eastern Europe through the Late Neolithic.

Circa 7640 BC there were one or more significant cometary impacts which would have had the effect of: (1) destroying much of the survace of the earth and the flora and fauna, including man; and (2) it would have destroyed over one-third of the ozone layer, thus allowing more ultraviolet radiation to reach the Earth, including survivors of the event.

My theory is that the populations roamed as a result of the catastrophe on the local environments so people wondered in search of safety, and they meanwhile were subjected to long-term ultraviolet radiation and an change in the electromagnetic environment of the Earth, disrupted for as much as 1000 years by the comet impact(s).

Radiocarbon onomolies occur for a period of time after the 7640 BC impacts, and then again around 3150 BC. Radiocarbon dating has to be adjusted due to these anomolies.

Enoch tells us all about it...

That particular flood is earlier ~ this is right before Sumer began its decline ~ now believed to be a multi-century drought. We 'missed' this event because there appeared to be linguistic and cultural continuity in the region. In reality surrounding Semitic speaking groups had acquired Sumerian writing, accounting, and religious elements and as the climate improved they moved into the Euphrates Valley replacing the by then long missing Sumerians.

This 4,000 years ago event occurs at the same time as the beginning of the Monsoon Winds into India ~ which allowed the vast central massif forests to dry out and allow human settlement.

It is also coincident with a little known event ~ Lake Erie shrank to its present size. Before this time it extended nearly all the way to the Western boundary of present day Indiana. Something happened and the water level dropped, the lake shrank, and bingo it took on its current appearance.

It's probably safe to say that there was a lengthy period of droughts around the world. Most likely seasons got shorter and the world cooled.

The genetic transformations were what they always are during those events ~ the guys from the North moved South!

The best explanation is a superior cross breed of humans. Think of two tribes, each of which have several useful adaptations or mutations, but when one of each of their number mate with the other ones, they produce children far better than either.

Smarter, stronger, healthier, better metabolism, the kids just run circles around their parents, and the tribe soon dominates, and spreads its genes to other tribes in the region.

A good possibility is an imperfect mutation for high intelligence. There is some speculation that a lot of what we consider intellectualism is a fairly recent development. However it is imperfect because too much of the mutation can have the opposite effect of retardation.

But at that time, an average IQ of 20 to 30 points higher in a tribe would easily result in it becoming dominant.

But almost as important is enhanced fertility, so that there are an increasing number of smart kids running around.

Because of the 10 lost tribes of Israel ?
It says that these " expanding cultures " came from Iberia and Eastern Europe.
But that would place the prophet Jeremiah going to Europe only 2500 years ago.
Or was it the tribes of Gad, Ruben, and half the tribe of Manasseh that did not pass over the Jordon ?
This would be around 1400-1500 BC.

You misunderstood the point on the monsoon ~ wasn't about monsoonal flow but about the actual flow of those winds OVER the Souvrn' half of the Indian subcontinent. Whatever happened even 20,000 years ago is irrelevant to the point ~ which was ~ that at the beginning of the period denoted ~ lasts 4000 years ~ the monsoon winds from the West just blew straight across Southern india from Arabia to SE Asia. But then something caused them to change and they blew further North allowing what had been a year round monsoon season to disappear and be replaced with an intermitent monsoon season. That reduced the annual rainfall substantially drying out much of the then inpenetrable jungle, and allowing human beings to begin serious settlement in the South.

Up until about 4000 years ago ALL the Dravidian speaking people lived in the North. Then, with settlement possible in the South they moved there. Today we think of them all as living in Southern India.

Note, the big cats did great in the jungle in the South ~ and until the area dried out humans could not compete with them. China seems to have had some problem along that line up until the end of the Younger Dryas ~ then the climate changed, the cats languished, and people moved in. But up until that time people lived West of what is considered modern China.

Writing ~ that began about 3200 BC. Its appearance was a sign of a higher intelligence developing among human beings. A scribe class/caste developed around the process. They became more and more widely distributed. General literacy improved.

It's just a matter of time and they'll pin down the genes necessary for people to read and write, then they'll trace the paths taken by the ancient scribes!

BTW, those guys always had jobs. Although dyslexia was probably the standard condition, the leadership elite could see the value of writing instantly. The scribe class/caste would be protected.

clearly the Ancient Aliens, after experimentation with other species like the Neanderthal, finally decided on a final change in the DNA sequence for their future slave population—the modern human.

Accordingly, they destroyed all evidence of their presence (Atlantis) and moved on to find other planets to bioengineer.

Yes, likely the at least some of the 10 lost tribes of Israel ended up in Western Europe. As far as the time table the world will always stretch out time beyond it's reality.

The LORD let the Israelis prosper and take over. They soon lost their identity as Israelites, but God knows who the descendants of Abraham are. He is keeping all of His promises to Abraham. He would be the father of many nations. The Israelite genes are mingled in all over the world, but in particular in Europe.

When Jesus comes back he will gather the members of the tribes of Israel who are left on earth after the great tribulation, and bring them back to Zion with rejoicing. The Jews already there will be shocked to find out that many of the people of the world who they considered gentiles are actually Israelites. The most surprised will be the Israelites themselves, who find out that they are actually Abraham's descendants.

Much of the Bible is around two subjects which, number one is the story of Christ, and number two the story of God keeping His promise to Abraham and causing his descendants to prosper and be ultimately blessed, and inherit the land of Israel.

Many “gentiles” are of the tribes because God has kept them, unbeknownst to themselves. Their fathers are a long line that trace all the way back to their tribal identity. Others are children of Abraham because somewhere back in their line their father/s or mother/s were Israelites, but though they are children of Abraham, they are not officially Israelites because Israeli identity is usually past through the father. God knows all, and knows the genetic pedigree of every person on earth and has also preserved His chosen Israeli line.

If many of the people who hate the Jews knew that they also have an Israeli genetic background, they might change their minds a bit.

....up until that time people lived West of what is considered modern China.

I was a student of Chinese at the DLI in Monterey in the early 80's. At that time, the professors all had to have received at least a masters degree at a mainland China university. One of them had a masters in history.

He said that the tribal legends of the Han and minority tribes tell of a constant south-easterly migration, back to the earliest identifiable threads.

Yes, tribes. It seems that at least before Mao took over, most Chinese people knew which tribe and sub-grouping they were part of.

Scottish descendents do ~ and the Welsh even have genealogies that go back to 245AD for most, and way before that for some.

I think it's the system of generation names that enable the Chinese to maintain links with their tribal and clan past ~ BTW, some cable systems carry a set of international channels that features shows originating in Big China. Most of them are about archaeological discoveries in recent years. Some fascinating stuff there. But FUR SHUR the Chicoms even buy into the Eastward Ho thesis now. Their oldest stuff is in higher elevations, further West and further North ~ where you could graze animals and control the tigers. They gradually move East and South as the Temperate zone develops and destroys old forests and the game the cats relied on.

Preservero: "Well, either some scientists’ current theories are infallible, or the Bible is infallible.
Take your pick.
I go with God’s word."

You may know, science is not about "infallible" theories, but rather about using confirmed data (aka "facts") to help form testable (falsifiable) hypotheses.
Hypotheses which pass many significant tests are considered "theories".

No "theory" is considered "infallible", but has been accepted until the time when some confirmed test falsifies its predictions.

By sharp contrast, the Bible makes no falsifiable scientific predictions.

You may know, that science has used “confirmed” data (aka “facts”) to help form testable hypotheses, which have been presented as facts, which have been found later to be false.

Even today we could cite several such ludicrous theories, (aka “facts”. Global warming is a good one.

God’s word is true, and His history of the world, along with everything else He says, is accurate.

Romans 3:3-4

“For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar.”
