Michael Bublé is making the rounds in New York City this week, promoting his new album "To Be Loved."

But in addition to standard TV appearances, he surprised Subway riders Thursday when he performed an impromptu acappella rendition of his latest single, "Who's Lovin' You."

Dressed sharply in a suit and tie, Buble sang with the group Naturally 7 at the W. 67th Street subway stop.

Is this guy paying for this advertising or something?

He is mediocre at best and I can’t think of any reason for him being famous.

I know this will make a lot of FReepers wonder if I’m actually straight, but I’ve been to two of this guy’s concerts and he’s awesome in person.
Probably the hardest working man in show business, LOL.

Even went out of his way both times to thank people for spending their money on tickets in “this terrible economy”

Not my kind of music but good for him. He’s found his place and had great success.

I’ve seen him twice and he is fantastic in person. He’s a true showman.

Thanks for posting! I love Buble; he’s just amazing. I’m glad he got a better reception than another of my favorites, Joshua Bell. When he played in the subway a few years back, it took a pathetically long time for even one single person to recognize him. Very sad.

Back to Buble. How hard wd it be to sing a cappella in a subway tunnel? I bet he wanted to kill the train that roared in just when he was getting to the big finish. Now I’m in the mood to listen to Feeling Good. Thanks again—what a great video!

He’s very funny too, isn’t he? Have you ever watched the video where he said he used to listen to the old jazz greats in his head phones while pretending to be listening to punk rock? Hilarious.

Oh, sure. The Lincoln Center stop. Upper West Side.

Why didn't he do it at Times Square?

The only thing cooler than this would have been for him to have dressed up as a shabby street guy with a poorly spelled sign and a raggy hat on the ground in front of him, a la that violinist a couple of years ago.
