I have very little to do with the consular office now.
The last was a few years ago when obtaining US citizenship for my boy, now age two.
I do note that in the last year or so they have drastically cut their hours.
The Obamination has a vast reach but I refuse to let it bother me.
From what I see from afar, I do not know how anyone can continue to live there. It will get only worse.

BHO2 is pushing hard to start a rebellion. Revolution is sparked often by something small and unimportant, but it may come. The communists think they will establish change that way - it will not be the change they want.

I agree. Why fight for a bunch of idiots.

It’s best to hunker down and get into survival mode.

At least our side will be better prepared. I’ll only have sympathy for the idiot’s little children.

We’ve come to a sad state.

I understand the survivalist types, but I started international living before I had even heard of Obozo.
I see only an act of God to save America, and he is not talking.
I am so grateful that I became an international traveler
before the USA became the USSA.

It is not too late for anyone. There are numerous sites that promote international living.

This has little to do with the topic at hand except that it
involves the Philippines and US Government hanky panky
under another Democrat administration. Until WWII the
Philippine Islands were controlled by the US which was a
by-product of the Spanish American War of 1898.

In the months leading up to the Japanese attack on Hawaii
and the Philippines in Dec 1941 a large number on American
civilian businessmen became increasingly concerned about
the possibility of war so they began trying to book passage
on ships for their families to evacuate. At first they were
successful. As the year went on, however, more and more
of the families were being bumped off of their vessel reservations.

I personally knew a lady whose husband was a mining engineer
on the main island of Luzon. She visited the American Consulate
in Manila during the Summer of 1941. She wanted to know if
she should book passage for a return to the US for her and her
4 yr old son. She was told that the Philippines was the safest
place in the world and she had nothing to fear. Later, when she
became a prisoner of the Japanese she learned from fellow
American civilian prisoners that American civilians had been
bumped off their passage reservations in favor of military
families. It turns out that the US government believed that
an exodus of so many American civilians would be noticed
by the Filipino populace and a panic might ensue. Since
military families tended to live on bases and mingled less
with the locals, their departure would be less noticed.

Did the US government have a special responsibility to
protect the families of servicemen? Yes, of course. Did
they have the right to lie to American civilians? Absolutely not.
Did I mention it was the FDR crowd that did the lying?

Obama is rolling the US back from the world and is using its remaining strength to help Islamic radicals take over wherever possible. The Philippines has long fought its own Muslim terrorists and has up close and personal experience with the Religion of Pieces. I hope Obama doesn't cause trouble in the Pacific like he has around the Mediterranean.

It’s a fun game. Try to not get violently beaten by Obama’s sons in the cities of America. Try to keep or find a job. Try to keep cops from shooting your dog. The list goes on and on...

And we fought them (the muzzies) there over a hundred years ago. The Morro war, a little known war but one that has a lot of significance in light of today's events.

Yes, and isn't there an apocryphal story that the 45 cal pistol was developed to fight those Muslim rebels who were hopped up on drugs and wouldn't go down with smaller calibers?

That is correct. Our officers were issued .38 caliber revolvers and they weren't getting the job done as it was taking a lot of rounds to take down the charging hopped up Morro warriors. This was the impetus for starting field tests for a new sidearm. Who knew that new sidearm would be in military use for more than 70 years and it has now been brought back into use in limited situations in the military. Mostly special ops types I believe.

An act of God wouldn’t even wake of some of these fools.
