Hey, you can’t fool me. I went to a Catholic school. That’s FIVE thermometers. Our neighbors that moved to Brookings have got to be loving this.

I’m going to Traegerize a large Salmon filet for the race on Sunday. 3 hours on “smoke” using mesquite chips. Have I always drooled like this??

I need to plant potatoes this weekend. The snow prevented the ground from freezing. The shoots are coming up about a foot long so they are getting restless. Forgot what variety I got....maybe Hash Browns.

I need help from a aviation expert to identify the really noisy plane that flew over the Vast Bender Estate yesterday afternoon. It was a BIG 4 engine jet with swept wings and a weird (to me) tail configuration that looked like it would break off in turbulence...

Here is a story from the Richmond paper about the attendance problem at RIR. From the TV it looked about half full last Saturday. Used to sell out at 115,000.

That would have been something to see but the tail is wrong. I had a feeling the plane we saw was semi vintage and was flying lower then the commercial planes fly.

Dang. Qualifying rained out. Brad 11th, Dale Jr. 12th. Hopefully we’re going to see some racing this weekend but it sure don’t look like it.

Ouch. So much water in the grass they can’t move if they get in it.

Does not look like there will be any Q-points welfare checks mailed out this week.

Going to shorten race, getting dark. Might have to shorten it more if they mess up again.

If you add a supercharger to your Challenger drag car, will you also add an intercooler? Looking at Challengers, I did not see big hood scoops even on supercharged cars for intrrcooler air flow. Can you put an intercooler up front behind the radiator? It seems you would run a supercharger from a belt off the front of the engine so a front-mounted intercooler would be short plumbing.

Was yours the SRT8 Hemi version?

Here's a good vid of how the style I'll use is put together, notice the manifold contains the inter-cooler and plumbing for the fuel rails.

I'll prolley go with Whipple, Hennessy or Magnuson

and no, though I have some 6.1 parts (which was the SRT option in '10) on mine it's an R/T (5.7)

paddle style SC
