With the local HNIC feed in HD of tonight’s Ottawa-Montreal game, it doesn’t get much better than this from a pure hockey perspective (with apologies to you Ovie & Cindy fans ;).
Most times I’d rather see a decisive win than the aleatory fluke goal in OT be the decider, especially where the one team is clearly better ... the ale-atory consumption also tends to get high in these games.
You must be LOVING that! I know the Leaf fans are beside themselves.
Wow ... I had some personal business & missed the early 3rd-period flurry by Ottawa; what a change in momentum from the way the 2nd unfolded with the bloody hit on Eller.
Goaltending, goaltending, goaltending — you need it to win the Cup... Anderson had it w/ 48 saves, the Habs didn’t.
