Fenway Park too, tear them all down?

Wrigley might seem like a dump to you, but it isn't to me.

Too many memories.

Then by all means get out your checkbook, hold a bake sale, sell stock in a losing franchise, do whatever to raise the money to refurbish that hole in the north side.

But leave Illinois taxpayers alone. There is not one single good reason for some poor working stiff in Peotome to pay to subsidize your memories.

Agreed. Too many memories of Wrigley, and just about all good. Especially June 23, 1984. Best baseball game I will ever see. The bad was getting back to my friend’s place and discovering my Mustang Mach 1 had been stolen. I had to make a car theft report to some skeptical Chicago cops after an extra inning game at Wrigley.

Heaven is a warm, sandy beach. Across the road behind the beach is Wrigley Field. You can’t miss it; it’s right between the Indianapoplis Motor Speedway and IU’s Assembly Hall. Unfortunately, I suspect the Cubs lose in Heaven too.

Fenway was a dump but they've done a LOT of improvements to the park in the last 15 years in spite of the cramped seating, especially with improvements to the high-revenue luxury boxes. As such, Fenway is a lot more modern ballpark than many people think.
