Maybe someone can assist here, but I believe ‘dereliction of duty’ in a purely military sense would apply to Commander-In-Chief and result in court martial or something worse. Any type of cover-up is impeachable. I would say that forwarding a narrative that shields or protects Al Qaeda and wrongly blames an American Coptic Christian filmmaker for the ‘protest’ is Treason; Wouldn’t that equate to aiding and abetting the enemy? When team 0bama blamed a the filmmaker, they quickly knew that absolutely was NOT true.
