I’m sure the audience was envious of the bear getting to eat that tasty monkey all by himself.

Bears are not warm cuddly animals. They are unpredictable and treacherous.

Some days you eat the bear.
Some days the bear eats you.
Or your monkey.

You sure that wasn’t the actual idea of the act?

Near the end, watch the guy who finally is able to pull the monkey away from the bear...and quickly wipes his hand on his pants.

When asked the most obvious question the bear merely replied (in cantonese): “Tastes just like chicken”.

This is what happens when animals are forced to do unnatural “stunts.”
A bear is a wild animal....expect it to behave like one, especially when under such stress.

I'm a little weirded out by the whole circus-animal / zoo thing. The circuses seem like a total mess, and the zoos seem like animal Supermax prisons. And I'm a right-wing conservative, not some PETA clown

...today he found out.

I read the headline as “monkey on the end of a stick”.
I thought wow, a bear riding a bicycle eats a monkey on a stick? That’s some circus act!
