One of the Oceach tagged white sharks named "Success", has been in that area. "Success" is a 16 foot white shark and if it was involved certainly it should have been noticed because of the size of the shark and the commotion caused by such a large predator on the surface. -tom
Why was a married shark surfing? How do we know it was the shark’s wife who was watching? Why didn’t the shark’s wife intervene?
She was hungry too!

That sentence could have been written better, but it isn’t wrong...”by a shark” is a prepositional phrase. If you remove the phrase, the sentence still makes sence. That is the test.

I still think the shark’s wife should have been mentioned though, because she could have prevented this whole thing by making sure her hubby was a more satisfied, happy shark.
If the wife was in the Indian Ocean, why didn’t the shark get her too? I’m so confused.
French food is very popular now days. Last week vultures were dining on French food and now sharks have discovered the delicacy. I would advise any French tourist to stay away from the bears at Yellowstone!

I couldn’t be a lifeguard - I would go in to try to save my wife or one of the kids/grand-kids, but no way for a stranger who hops into the sharks’ food bowl all on his own.
That must have been one hungry shark to turn to French cuisine instead of heartier fare!

it appears to be dangling.
Since the white shark "Success' has a spot tag transmitter bolted to it's dorsal fin which would send a signal to a satellite when the dorsal breaks the surface, and since there is no record of the dorsal being on the surface that day I think "Success" can be removed as a suspect. This guy was on the surface and not diving.-tom
