It would depend on what was done — in both the vet’s office as well as the doctor’s. Also, assuming you have medical insurance, your bill would definitely be less than that at the vet’s (even if you had vet insurance there as well since you have to pay up front and then send the bill in to the company). I would not consider a bill for less at the doctor’s than the vet’s to be confirmation of anything other than that. Hope your daughter is better.

I treasure my kids above anything in this world. If I took them to the doctor..they had insurance. The pups, not so much. But I will agree vet charges these days are obscene.
That said..I have never had to go to the principal’s office for a beat down about their behaviour. Never had to be hounded (pun intended) for the keys to the car. Never had to buy designer tennis shoes because they would “just die” if they couldn’t have them. Never had to worry about what they were up to when not in my sight.
I love my kids above all else..but the pups and kitty are just easier.
