Hi All, I’m not much of a fan of Life of Riley and Our Miss Brooks, but otherwise an ok lineup...more Sherlock Holmes...

This isn’t exactly on topic etc BUT

Have heard several people ‘complain’ that the only TV/cable that you can find “Blazing Saddles” on has the ‘LANGUAGE’ etc bleeped or ‘cleaned up’.

This morning, IFC ran “Blazing Saddles” uncut, so called inappropriate ‘words’ and references remained in tact.

Only draw back is it does run commercials..

Oh, it is set to be run again 5/18 0730 on IFC and would imagine same ‘format’ to be used.

Unless, of course, the PC Police ‘get to them’.

Yea I've seen the edits. The PC police are over these radio shows by editing out cigarette commercials or running a disclaimer if one can't be removed.

It's disgusting.

Vision, do you know the title/artist of Ed’s opening theme song? We heard it this past week, I think it was on the 1920s Radio Network feed, but it was cool hearing the whole song. I know I could e-mail Mr. Walker and find out.

On the way back, while not in the Triangle, the ship stopped to answer a distress signal from a small sail boat. The ship stopped and they ran a small boat over there, sharks were circling the bobbing boat, but nobody was there. We later learned the sailor had been picked up by the coast guard earlier that morning. Apparently, with the drifting boat being a threat to navigation, it was free for anyone to take before the coast guard returned to sink it.
