The site also contained the cracked skulls of larger antelopes . . . "Scavengers like hyenas will consume all the rest of the carcass, but they'll leave the heads behind because they can't crack them open to extract the brains," Ferraro said. The team hypothesized that ancient human ancestors found the discarded heads in their landscape, and then cracked open the skulls to access the fatty, nutritious, energy-rich brains.

That blows the old 200,000 years theory out of the water.

But wait....Perhaps there is millions in grant money to prove that these people are like soooo wrong??

I had to quit hunting with my brother because he thought hunting and drinking went together like peas and carrots.

The theory says there were human ancestors two million years ago. Nobody said they were anatomically modern humans.

Well it was in Africa - so I don’t think keeping warm was much of an issue. And the site was littered with stone tools, and the bones were scraped with stone tools - so tools made from bone may well have been in use as well.

Or as in South America - you might not like your ‘thing’ flopping around when you run- so you tuck it up into your belt - the only thing they wear is a belt in which to tuck it.

I got my first gun at the age of nine. I took my first organized training in firearms safety at the age of twelve. My instructor, a man named Art Short led us through the basics. With a straight face he explained to a bench full of skinny twelve-year-olds that we were not to drink if we were going to be handling firearms. We tried not to laugh but it was tough.

Can’t prove it was humans!

Gimme a big enough grant and I’ll see if I can prove it was just a crashed crew from a space ship full of Ancient Aliens!!

Now, that’d get headlines... or a show on one of them “discovery” type channels, eh?
