In direct contrast to feckless poltroon John Boehner, Darrel Issa is showing some serious cojones in his pursuit of Hillary and Obama on Benghazi.

Oh, now that is a venerable and quintessentially Shakespearean word!

To avoid the use of elevated language and command of the spoken word, is the realm of the weak of spirit, the poltroon of thought.

There once was a man, a poltroon
Whose death came a little too soon
He’s with us today
We’ve worked out a way
To use his skull as a spitoon

I complained about my leader,
The guy was a poltroon!
I wrote a nice note yesterday,
And Sunday afternoon.
I sent off all the messages,
I hope to hear back soon.

...

I got my answer in the news,
They sent me a platoon.

With you, it's a typo. On Twitter, it's a way of life. A remarkably high percentage of tweeters don't know the correct usage of to/too/two, it's/its, there/their/they're, or your/you're.

We settled on Buffy the Dandelion Slayer for her name. She spent quite a bit of time attacking dandelions yesterday. Too funny. She could pounce and bat and bite all day. The dandelion would pop back up and she was back at it.

Our first shih tzu, Roxie, would tear into paper towels. She would rip and growl and throw them around. Then, when it was ripped to shreds, she would strut off as if she saved the world. Guests used to get a kick out of the show.

Just wait until all those other woman who want to do the same thing find out that obamacare won’t pay for a dime of it. And the BRCA1 gene is linked to a 65% chance of getting cancer, not 87% as the article says.

but the preventative mastectomy does reduce by 90% your chances of getting cancer. not going to argue over obamacare paying for it, or the BRCA gene odds, i am outraged that morons are #1 positing that it's a political gambit to deflect attention from Obama's scandals #2 acting like this is a ridiculous bit of self-mutilation, rather than an accepted course of action, medically speaking.

That thread has some of the most appalling and ignorant responses I’ve seen in awhile. Wanting to be alive and healthy for your kids-and being willing to do something difficult to get better odds isn’t a stunt.

A close friend of mine had a double mastectomy after having a small tumor removed-her mom and sister both died of breast cancer early on. My friend isn’t rich or famous, but she was alive to bring up her 2 kids, and is still alive and well, 15 years later.

I make no secret of considering many men self-centered and dishonest in their dealings with women, but I still think the more vitriolic male posters should imagine how it might feel to have to be emasculated in order to live...

That is a hypothetical percentage they posted for reducing the odds. I think it’s silly they think she had the surgery and publicized it to protect obama. She watched her mother suffer and die from cancer, and probably didn’t want to have that happen to her and her family again. I have several friends who have had breast cancer. One had a marble sized tumor and had both breasts removed and reconstructed. She didn’t want to ever have to deal with that fear again. Another friend had a mom who had cancer on and off again from the time she was a child until a late teen. That’s when she died from it. Her mom had cancer and was fighting it the whole time she knew her. That is strong motivation to remove something you consider a time bomb.
