It sounds like he is making great progress-how long is he to be in the cone of shame and on the meds?
It was misting when I was hiking this morning, and “real” rain on the way-so I spent the later part of the morning cleaning the leaves out of the gutters before the downpour-so it can happen any time now...
The cone is for 3-4 wks. I have been taking it off for his meals but since he tries to scratch right after eating, it goes right back on. I’m hoping after next week’s visit, we will start tapering back on the meds. He gets 3-4 sets of eyedrops every 2 hours. The oral steroids are twice a day for several days, then once a day, then every other, just like for people. One of my old lady friends said your dog sounds like me! We’re on meds for the same things! I said he is loved, just like you.
I can’t imagine how annoying it would be to have a thing like that around my neck, and walk on four legs as well-I’d be plotting a way to rip it to shreds.
If I were an ultra-homer, I would take severe umbrage at that remark! Then I realize it can’t be a picnic living in a $$$ Rat-hole where a one-way commute takes 2 hours instead of 20 minutes.....
If Williams’ personal “performance” is on a par with his professional output per recent experience, I can somewhat understand the ex’s reticence to remain involved with him. I’m also surprised there was no direct mention of the fact that Williams is a big gun & hunting advocate, to make him look like an even worse individual.
Nice poem, as usual. I’m getting long popcorn futures as I watch the scandals unfold.

Our gutters plugged up as well. They’re clean now, but a bird’s nest is still over the front porch lights.
