BELCHERTOWN, Mass. Massachusetts state police say they and the FBI are investigating a trespassing incident at the Quabbin Reservoir but have no evidence of terrorism.
The central Massachusetts reservoir supplies drinking water to Boston.
State Police spokesman David Procopio says Tuesday night that a trooper saw two cars parked at a reservoir park entrance at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, then saw five young men and two young women walking toward them from the reservoir.
Procopio said they are from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Singapore with addresses in Amherst, Cambridge, Sunderland and Northampton, and New York City. He said law enforcement databases show no warrants, detainers or advisories on them.
The men told police they are recently graduated chemical engineers curious about the reservoir.
Procopio said they will be summoned to court later on trespassing charges.
Curious my butt!

Thanks to our immigration policies (lack thereof) the enemy is inside the wire.
Lots of colleges in that area. College students at a reservoir at night is not suspicious, but being Pakistani while doing so is.
I can remember many fine nights at a res, pond, river, or such while in school.
Riiiiight.
MEMO TO POLICE: You can arrest and hold on the basis of suspected trespassing. If they had poisoned the reservoir the deaths would be on you Mr. Policeman. Your life might be in danger.
Take a bet on whether they appear.
I’ll bet this turns out to be that the young ladies in question were, uh, entertaining the 5 men and, not being from around there, they came up with a most unfortunate excuse.
You betcha. This is the Boston reservoir! These folks are either stupid, or up to no good. Put them in different rooms, then ask each one for his/her story.
If the stories don't match, or if anyone lawyers up, then there's something more than trespassing going on here.

Nothing to see here.... young Chemical Engineers from Muslim countries, coming together from 5 different cities and towns in the Northeast, trespassing on the water supply for Boston, at midnight.
I’d be testing that water for everything by now.
Wormwood.
Good luck poisoning that water supply. Huge doesn’t do it justice. It’s REALLY big. Still glad I’m on well water though.
These people should be interogated using all of Bush's special interrogation techniques. Get all the information wrung out of them, and then, depending on what we find out, either immediately thereafter either deported or executed as spies or terrorists.
Arabs, chemcial engineers, tresspassing in the middle of the night at a reservoir supplying water to millions...and we are expected to believe that they are just "interested" in the reservoir?
Unbelievable.
We have an administration that has set up an environment, a narrative, and a policy that there are no Islamic JIhadists, that we must accomodate their radcialism, and that there is no "war on terrorism."
That policy and message filters down throughout the agencies. Normal people working fear standing up because it will surely have negative consequences on their pay, career, and livelihood. People who do stand up are made examples of, labeled Islamophobes, demoted, or removed. People who buy this ludictrous and dangerous narrative are promoted.
So you end up with serious lapses in our security and vigilance that lead to things like a radical Islamic U.S. Army Major, who openly spoke out against America and fighting Islamic terrorists, who then kills many service personnel at Ft. Hood, Texas, shoulting "Allah Akbar," as he does so, and this administration calls it workplace violence.
You end up with two muslim brothers, who are investigated for ties to terrorism, who at the time are both not US citizens, being allowed to stay here, and findings that they are not a threat, who later bomb the Boston Marathon, killing several people and injuring scores.
God help us, as a people to stand...to forthrightly set this aright...whatever the cost, so that our kids and grandkids have at least the chance to lenjoy the freedom and prosperity that we have.
A few people on foot could not carry enough of any toxic substance to affect the billions of gallons in a reservoir. They may have been on a scouting mission to determine the feasibility of blowing the dam to cause downstream flooding and interrupt the water supply to the city.
How much of any of the nastier chemicals does it take to render a such a reservoir unfit for human consumption?
This is a scary development. Let’s hope the Muslims didn’t place anything in the water.
....or, this may NOT have been their first trip
Imagine 100,000 muslim jihadis here on H-1B, L-1, refugee and expired student visas working in power plants, fertilizer factories, refineries, chemical manufacturers, hospitals, utilities, dams, pharmaceutical formulators, web hub server farms, municipal water supply facilities, sewage treatment plants, meat packing and food processing plants, driving HazMat trucks...
