Johnny Manziel’s offseason has been epic.

Just off the top of my head, he has rocked it courtside at Dallas Maverick games, kicked it in the champagne room at the hottest clubs, and can name Drake as a friend and role model. He is also planning a bromantic getaway with heterosexual lifemate A.J. McCarron.

Now we can add jacking homers in one of the MLB’s most cavernous ballparks:

Johnny “Football” will not even be a first round draft pick as a quarterback. To start with he is billed as 6-1 and 200 pounds. That’s a joke. He’s around 5-9, maybe 5-10, and looks like he weighs about 160. He is a great scrambler for a quarterback but his arm is no where as strong as big, pocket quarterbacks. I call him the Manti Teo of college football. Teams that have never seen him have a hard time with him because of his scrambling and quickness. This was the problem when Texas A&M played Alabama last year. He dominated the Tide in the first half and basically did nothing in the second half after the Tide adjusted to his style of play. If the game had lasted a couple of more minutes Alabama would have won the game. If he plays in the NFL he will be a defensive back. He’s too small to play quarterback.

Care to put some money where your mouth is? I say A & M will win the SEC.

Alabama will start the season #1 and win their 3rd title in a roll. Johnny “Football” will leave after this year. He’ll get mad that he didn’t win another Heisman. I would be surprised if a team picks him up as a quarterback. Just not big enough. The NFL is all about quarterbacks that can sling the ball accurately half-way down the field, not little guys squirming all around the field.

btw..the guy is only a sofmore, so why would he be dumb enough to enter the nfl draft now instead of breaking all records and beyond? ...and I guess you’re too young to remember Fran Tarkington.
