We’ve discussed this before, and you won’t change my mind. I LOVE that show, and I enjoy the re-runs because I was always interrupted by family “stuff” when watching the show the first time around.

I don’t care how often I’ve seen a particular show, or where in the story line I tune in, I enjoy the show. As far as falling asleep — the show is so forumlaic that I can “watch” with my eyes closed and follow the story line. Because they run 4 episodes, back to back, every night here starting at 10 pm, it makes an effective nostrum for sleep.

And the story lines are surprisingly current. Last week there was an episode about the IRS harrassing taxpayers.

;-)

For the first time in a while
The drive-by media is caught
Between being all fictioneers
Or doing what they were taught

Their spinning is wrapped
Around the narrative tight-
And if they can’t unravel it
They won’t look very bright

The wall of “there” is crumbling,
The tree has now been shaken
But what else would you expect
Once the 5th has been taken?

Here is a bittersweet picture of the day. This little dog was sitting in the rubble of the OK tornado. Recovery workers later found that he was guarding the body of his owner. The Sheriff's deputy who found him is adopting him.

Good job! Methinks that Barry gave Lois a permit to go after conservative groups. A Lerner’s Permit, so to speak.

WISHING this was the work of a fictioneer, but alas and alack, it's not. We knew all along it was never a case whereby they wanted acceptance, they want far more than that, they want CELEBRATION and PRAISE for their perversion. I think i mentioned before the two gay students at my alma mater GWU, were attempting to get the CATHOLIC CHAPLAIN fired for preaching in his homily that marriage is between one man and one woman, IOW, for preaching the Catholic faith. It is going to be very soon that even silent disapproval of homosexuality will be illegal.

So don't forget to applaud when you see two homosexuals making out on the street or in a bar.

(Seinfeld voice:)"Not that there's anything wrong with that."

“applaud”

And where I come from, if you add a whistle to that applause, it becomes an insult for indulging in a PDA...

I saw Lois on the news when I got home, huffily saying she didn’t do anything wrong, or break any laws, and taking the 5th and all I could think of was Nixon saying I am not a crook, and my parents howling with laughter at that...

Definitely NO legal expertise here, but is a “blanket” statement that you’re taking the 5th even permissible? I thought that Congressional Committee rules differed from a court of law, besides.

Remember when Bill Clinton would deny stuff by saying “I don’t think you’ll be able to find a single shred of evidence...”

At least he was artful.

Well, Clinton was always an artful dodger, because he’s an attorney and knew the way to play in court. I heard that Issa intends to call Lois Liar back to the stand later-I’d really like to see Gowdy question her at length-he sounds like a real Barracuda...

What a week, is it really on Wednesday? I have another sinus infection, DH is waiting for his test results. The puppy only cares that I am home with her. And it’s hotter than blazes out there. Thank God winter is gone.

And you’d think the Attorney General would know you can’t just give a verbal recusal either, at least that’s what Judge Jeanine said.
