Kaufman, whose abrupt cancer death in May of 1984 left fans, friends and foes alike wondering if it were all an act even at his funeral, would be 64-years old if alive today. For some, mysterious photos taken of a grey-haired man in Albuquerque suggest he

I thought he got killed by a wrassler or such? Anyways, who cares. My cat died 20 years ago, (I think).

You do know that Lawler was in on the whole thing right. He thought it was hilarious, and great promoting for wrestling which was still very regional at he time. Really you have to wonder how much of the success of the WWF/E came about because of that gag which made wrestling national for months.

I’m a big Kaufman fan. He was hilarious.

Just thinking about his Mighty Mouse routine makes me smile.

Saw him in concert at the University of South Florida in October, 1978. He did his Elvis — which was a fantastic impression. Finished the evening by wrestling several women.

I hope he’s still alive.

I watched my 3 or 4 Kaufmann movies in a single afternoon, and was amazed that my girlfriend quietly sat through them all, I think he was more of a guy thing though.

Andy Kaufman was a funny guy whose stage acts were mostly not very funny. Jose Jimenez would get him blackballed today.

Everyone knows Kaufman is still alive going by the name “Rob Reiner”, having murdered and replaced the original.

Was on the Tonight Show. Dick Clark revealed that there were only two Elvis impersonators Elvis liked or could stand, Jay Leno and Andy Kaufman. Jay was impressed.

My of my favorite TV moments was on the Dick Van Dyke variety show. Andy Kaufman lost a Fonzie look alike contest to Joe Frazier.
