He spotted the reptile when making the final routine check of the plane
A Saudi pilot checking the passenger aircraft before taking off from an airport in the Gulf Kingdom was shocked when he saw a snake crawling near the tyres.
The pilot of the flight operated by the government-owned Saudi Airlines was making the final routine check of the plane at the airport in the northwestern town of Tabuk when he came face to face with the reptile.
The snake could have sneaked into the aircraft and attacked passengers
what is the airport management going to do about this negligence, the unnamed pilot told the Saudi Arabic language Sabq newspaper.
I wonder if it was an assault snake?
(Have I been spelling ‘tire’ wrong all these years?)
I heard a rumour you should labour to spell it right, but I won’t criticise you.
Maybe they were in Tyre, Lebanon. /s
“I am so tired of these #$%#$$ snakes on this #$%#$$ plane...”
You know why my answer would have been?
‘Ohhhhh Noooooo.. those are black mambas. Somebody ground up the female parts of one and spread it all around the plane if they’re trying to get up through the ‘tyres’. You should check ALL your planes for mambas.... this is terrible.’
When I was in Pilot training at Williams AFB in Arizona we would frequently find rattlesnakes in the wheel wells of parked aircraft. There was a story out of Moody AFB in Valdosta GA when a student pilot went to solo in a tweet, a small green snake crawled out of the air-conditioning vent and curled up between his legs. He circled around and landed without incident. They had to throw the seat cushion away because they could not get the pucker out of it.
The vast majority of snakes are harmless; however, it’s not a good idea to gamble if you don’t know what variety it is.
When “Snakes On A Plane” came on TNT, it was...
I am so tired of these monkeyfied snakes on this Monday to Friday plane...
That is almost funnier.
Paging Samuel L. Jackson. . . .
can snakes byte through tyres?
a snake on a Saudi plane? Sounds like professional courtesy to me!
Did Samuel L. Jackson recently visit Saudi Arabia?
Yeah, I know this isn’t Samuel L. Jackson, but I also heard this one on a movie aired on TNT:
“Yippie-ki-yay, my friend!”
Perhaps it was a pilot snake.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
“Native to the North Georgia Mountains. It is one of the most deadly snakes one can encounter.”
It’s a mean copperhead.
Yippie-ki-yay, my friend! is better than Yippie-ki-yay, Mr. Falcon!”
That was the dubbed version I heard once on TV many years ago,
