I’m the MORON? You’re the one praising the cops for breaking into a man’s home and killing his pet. This man died for your freedoms but because he has a breed of dog you don’t like, it’s all good.

What other justification do you have for allowing cops to shoot up a man’s home? Choice of artwork, color of paint on the walls, dirty dishes left in the sink, what?

I saw your public display of mental retardation - and knew right away there would be some 10-15 replies.

Bet you wish FR had a way to self delete posts, dontcha?

I said no such thing. Perhaps a reading for comprehension class is in order.

Shoot first, concoct story
later, superiors will justify.
seems to fit the police state pattern..
"murder one openly, terrorize thousands"
..Soviet/NAZIs mindset.

I don’t like pits either. But they are not against the law to own.

My Great Pyrenees could be as ugly as any pit bull under the right circumstances, he just looked so innocent with all that white fur and smiley face, that no one would think it. He did considerable damage to a stalker type who kept coming to my house.

My current dog is a 12 year old pit mix. He's a marshmallow, unless you frighten me or my MIL or yell at me (don't yell at me). I am aware that he is protective and act accordingly. If I'm okay with you, he is okay with you - actually he'd like you to rub his belly and coo sweet nothings at him and he'll wag so hard he'll dislocate his spine.

Your attitude toward pits is unrealistic and unsupported by the facts. Dogs are what their owners raise them to be and a good owner takes into account their dog's natural traits when raising the dog.

Now that my pit mix is older, I am looking for a similar dog. I appreciate that he will do his best to protect me and that his alertness and presence act as a deterrent to those off ill will.

Back-tracking already? Cornered and you start whining that posters are liberals? Because we don’t agree with the cops breaking into a man’s home and killing his pet. That’s rich!

The dog was probably tied up in the house because she chews/eats everything in sight ..

My Lab used to do the same thing ...

Vacuum cleaner hose, neatly cut into many 2" pieces ...

“It’s just my opinion, no need to get your panties in a bunch over it.”

I don’t think it’s so much as opinion but your flawed core
belief based on really not knowing what your talking about.
I guess it could be said that my comments to you are just
my opinion too but we wont let any facts or common sense get
in the way. Honestly, I don’t think your an idiot or pinko
commietard but your #4 post was rather suspicious. Don’t get
ticked if everyone and their dog piles on you for it.

Uninsulting reply?!! You stated that the entire breed should be EXTERMINATED! That wasn't insulting to pit owners?

You have no sense.

These are not cops. They are thugs in blue wrecking lives, destroying people’s pets, and devastating their homes.

These bastards should be fired and incarceratd, the idiots who supervised and trained them handled similarly and the police department should be forced to pay all this guy’s expenses.

Once we signed away our right to protect OURSELVES to a “professional” law-enforcement agency, we set the stage for the ruination of our Republic and our rights.

Did you read the article? Did you read that the dog was tied up? Did you read that he is a veteran

Yes. Who ties up a dog while it is in the house. Timothy McVeigh was a veteran also, wasn't he?

“Who ties up a dog... Timothy McVeigh was also a veteran”.

The man could have tied up the dog for any number of good reasons. The dog may have been young and in the chewing stage. The dog may also have been left a good bit of time and rather than soil all the house.. could have tinkled in the kitchen (where most flooring is easily cleaned). If you read the article, this veteran in question was at work and minding his own business. It was the cops who made the mistake of going into the wrong house. It was the cops who broke his door and killed his dog because someone was too lazy or stupid to actually get the right apartment on the warrant.

My point with the veteran is simple. This is a man who faced combat to protect our constitutional freedoms and fight tyranny. Yet he was the victim of tyranny and had his constitutional rights trampled upon like they were nothing. For every supporter of the cops who killed this dog (and chooses to ignore that he was a true victim) think about this. The next time it may be your house or one of your families houses. The next time the cops may be after ammo, guns, or anything else that is put on a list. IMHO, the reason many of our God given constitutional rights are being taken away is simple... because so many people side with the ones who are doing the taking. Have a good day.

For every supporter of the cops who killed this dog

How many people here support cops killing dogs indiscriminately? Do you have a number or percentage?

I believe it is inhumane to chain a dog inside an unoccupied residence. The dog could easily end up strangling itself.

It is incumbent upon law enforcement to get warrants for and to enter the correct address.
