The NYTimes has a lacunae in their manhood after the latest limp wristed slap at Obama on their editorial page.
They backed down in an editorial....showing a shocking lack of testosterone. The Daily Caller caught this little lover's tiff.

Christina Scabbia, easily one of the most beautiful women in the world, is the singer for “Lacuna Coil”.

I haven’t had enough coffee this morning to fill the lacuna of my cognitive thought.
I am hearing songs in my head...
“Lacuna Matata, what a wonderful phrase...”
Or the Beach Boys: “Aruba, Jamaica, ooo I wanna take ya, Lacuna, Bahama, come on pretty momma...”

One can even find
lacunae in emptiness, such as in outer space. This is not news, but even if it were, it would be nothing to talk about.

I like the Big Kahuna referenceWell, he was born in Hawaii. Allegedly.
I have written literally thousands of limericks since this thread began, most of them about Obama and none of them favorable. (Hey, why are there a bunch of men in black suits at my front door? And why does the guy in front have a battering ram??)

It’s from one of the most interesting and thought-provoking movies of this century. Xs hasn’t watched it yet.
“Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” tells the tale of a man who finds his ex has erased her memory of him and he decides to erase his of her. During the procedure, he has second thoughts and tries to “hide” her memories.
It examines whether it is better to experience love and pain or forget about them. And whether, without memory, we are destined to repeat our histories. And if love is stronger than all of that.
To: SoothingDave
I haven’t heard of it either.

Oh, I’m an old hand at it!!
In the world of science-fiction fandom and re-enactors, it’s called “Filking”. Taking a popular tune and mucking about with the words.
As a performing minstrel, I’ve been doing it for decades!
