It’s interesting. You basically see the love story told by way of Joel’s memories as they are being erased. Very non-linear and surreal.

Who hid it? It’s right where it always was. The janitor keeps taking Ingrid to the broom closet.

do we need to collect bail $??

No, I have plenty of money in my bank account. It's not like they could wipe me out electronically by entering a remote command.

Whooops! (Good thing they closed Gitmo. Wouldn't want to go there.)

Two months ago, after creating a lacuna in my right leg, the doctor slipped in a replacement knee and sewed me back together again. His handwork still aches after all these days, but I slept through my medication call this AM, so I must be getting better. I'm down to 3 Aleve per day. I'll be kicked out of PT next week, and I'm on my own to continue therapy until I can walk normally. Yesterday I spent some time making a chart to track my exercises, and now it's time to address it. 10-15 straight leg quad sets first. Ugh!

Thanks. You have excellent taste. (Or you’re high on Aleve.)

last i heard of ingrid, after she was almost hit by that plane, was that the russians were using her as a whitewater raft in their annual rafting contest...

as for the wet bar, they started using stemmed glasses again...(sigh!)

It is cloudy and almost cool outside-I only came home from the woods because I have to research a product for a job...

And that word is a favorite of mine-a character in a favorite book uses it with sarcasm...

All those convenient lacunae
In AG Holder’s recollection
Were fabricated to assist him
In avoiding certain detection

And it worked for quite awhile,
His minions spied on the press-
Now he’s busted-how far it went
Is anyone’s educated guess

Now everything feels hinky
To Rosen, AP and their kin-
They know to trust big brother
Means that you will never win...

I saw those in the Skymall catalog!

I was going to, one of these days, show them off in class. but you beat me to it.

It’s actually some sort of glass/ceramic. It just looks like a red Solo cup.

Unlike his teammates with the vacant lacunae for morals, this guy has a heart.

Yesterday, I was able to do a good thing for a fellow contractor-he was about to be stiffed by a dishonest and greedy person who did me that bad turn a few years ago. A heads-up, a little info-he got paid right now in full, and voila, sinless revenge that left me smiling...

Have you seen Silver Linings Playbook yet? Language is not safe for kids but there is nothing gratuitous.

We babysat last night for my nephew: 3 little girls, 11, 3, and 1. Haven’t done that in years but we’re building family relationships with them. They were two broken kids who found each other and have amazingly risen above the horrible family circumstances they both endured as kids. I’m so pleased to see what they have become and their kids are darling.

Can’t say I have. I don’t normally watch romances.
