Good thing this happened near wawa. Uhhh water.

In my golden days of international travel, we used to call a certain common complaint the wawa's ... as in West Africa Wins Again.

And then, there is a certain aging libtard newser who is known by the same appellation, brilliantly portrayed by Gilda Radner (shown above).

Or, you might even say that both Wawa's are essentially the same.

“There were two moose involved in vehicle collisions last night,” she writes. “Wawa-news saw five moose this morning, four on the way to the fire, and one crossed directly in front of the truck as we went back to Wawa.”

Why were those four mooses on their way to the fire?
I'm confused...

Interesting story. This reminds me of another truck accident in the same general region as the place where this one occurred. The one I'm thinking about took place around the late 1990s on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Sudbury, Ontario.

I'm surprised that story didn't get any coverage down here in the U.S. A truck carrying a load of dynamite to one of the big mines up in that area caught fire, and the driver fled as far as he could before the thing exploded. The explosion was so massive that it shut down the highway for days. It showed up on seismographs all over that part of North America, and they wouldn't even begin rebuilding the highway until they had brought in geologists to make sure there hadn't been a permanent change in the underlying geological structure of the area.

Few years back my dog and I were heading across Ontario. As we started north from the Soo there were frequent signs warning of moose. I was talking to the dog telling him we better watch out for moose while thinking to myself, ‘ Yeah right, in all my travels through the area I’ve never seen one’.

We got to the Chapleau cut-off around midnight and turned west towards Wawa. We travelled for about an half hour when suddenly a moose came out of the bush on the right and onto the road a very short distance in front of us. Frikken thing was taller than my van, with the canoe on top!

I was able to step on the brakes and avoid it but for some reason after that I couldn’t get the van going any faster than 30 mph :) Decided to pull off for the night on a side logging road and continued the trip in the morning.

I see this phrase posted now and again what on earth does it mean?

You're part of the FReeper class of '98, and you don't know that!? Heck, you've got people responding to you like you're a newbie as a result.

Clearly, you need The 2009 FreeRepublic Lexicon (seems to be the most recent). In it, in the "B" section, you will find:
