What idiocy.
Point of fact: I used to routinely censor library materials my offspring picked out due to the overwhelming leftist messages most children’s literature contains. At least, the stuff we stock in Minnetopia.
‘Arthur’ was one I could stomach, although it had the circa 1980’s leftist twitch. Even so, I could stand reading happy-nicey-rainbow-fuzzy puppies crap since we have a whole lot more going on that puts this tripe in its proper perspective.
To imagine that the Left has gone so insane that their introductory pablum is now racist and counter-revolutionary just proves that the Maoists are now in control.
Thanks, I was looking for a list of books to reinforce patriarchal norms.
I have a very ragged copy of Little Black Sambo which I have read to my children and then my grandchildren. Guess these folks wouldn’t be too happy about that - but too bad. They don’t know what they are missing.
Maybe give the kiddies books that teach them that they are viruses infecting the Earth Mother Goddess Gaia?
