I must say I considered putting him down. He had reoccurring eye infections that were so painful that he spent all of his time curled up in his bed. Finally the vet found an antibiotic that cleared the infection up enough so the eyes could be removed and since then he has been just fine.
You say he is a therapy dog. I am so grateful for threapy dogs.,when i was on dialysis I had a friend come by with her therapy dog, a Pomeranian, and he stayed with me during that time. I wasn’t afraid.
