Interesting. Selling like hot cakes because they view it as fiction. Well even non-believers may find the stories interesting.

Different thing.

I have tried to get teens to read the Bible and I generally start the boys on the book of Judges and the girls on Ruth.

I had very good results. Once the children understand that the Bible is not just snippets of verse to be memorized but full of adventure, mystery, romance, poetry and war they begin to read it in full rather then just the bits that were required reading.
