Apparently there’s some sort of bylaw at Dunkin Donuts that says when you don’t get a receipt, your order is free. The woman in this video didn’t get a receipt and, naturally, she filmed an 8 minute video quest for justice that is painful to watch.

Who in their right mind lawyers-up after failing to get a receipt at a Dunkin’ Donuts? And what lawyer is seriously taking the case?
No, this woman(?) is a delusional Ralph Nader wannabe who thinks it’s her place in life to “right all the wrongs” of the ever-diminishing quality of customer service in the fast food world. (Trouble is, the service she is seen getting on her video is fairly outstanding!)
She probably gets her kicks out of torturing Walmart employees too.
Until fairly recently Michigan had an Item Pricing Law which declared that all items in a retail store must be individually marked with a price, bar code scanners not withstanding.
The purpose was to try and save the jobs of Union grocery clerks when scanning registers came out in the 70’s.
The law also said that if the price scanned did not match the ticket the customer was entitled to ten times the difference, up to a maximum of $5.00.
The result of which was virtually every store in Michigan had a line of grumblies at the checkout any hour of the day or night, demanding their five bucks.
That’s because he has a PhD from Harvard in Customer Relations and graduated at the top of his class.
From the accents the complaining girl is a native born american and the guy handling it well is not.

lol took a girl out who was allergic to onions. She ordered and of course found some onion in the dish. So she freaked out on staff. The entire time I am thinking, onions are in everything, you better eat at home.
I’ll bet the c*** got a receipt and just didnt see it or lost it.
BTW, I’ve seen the guarantee that your order is free if you don’t get a receipt. There’s no time limit for DD to give you a receipt. According to the statement they post they could give you a receipt next Christmas and be in compliance.
Color me stupid, but I just don’t have the time to shop like that for my everyday stuff.

I agree. And I would have announced the transaction was over the moment she dropped the “F” bomb and I would have called the police for disturbing the peace.
Methinks you may have way too high a view of that profession.......

Smoking Gun says the cashier was slow to give her a receipt, the customer went off, and cashier said she would have to talk to her manager the next day.
Wouldn’t it have been awesome if the “offending” counter-person walked up to her just as nicely as could be and handing her a receipt, said, “Here’s your receipt from yesterday, Ma’am. You drove off before I could give it to you.”
But, in the video, she appears frightened. And who wouldn’t be. Miss de Mille with the camera seems bent on manslaughter. Hey, some people just can’t go without coffee in the morning!
