Exciting news about polar bears in eastern Canada: a new the peer-reviewed paper concludes that despite sea ice having declined since the 1970s, polar bear numbers in Davis Strait have not only increased to a greater density than other seasonal-ice subpopulations, but it may now have reached its ‘carrying capacity.’ This is great news. But where is the shouting from the roof-tops? This peer-reviewed paper was published February 19, 2013. No press release was issued that I could find and consequently, there was no news coverage. The environ whackos will be claiming that since the beaches up there will be more crowded due to the increase in population the bears will be more despondent. That means an increase in the suicide rate. How could we have allowed this to happen? We need three more agencies in the government to councel, help, and fund these poor creatures in their misery.
Polar bears “evolved” from animals that thrive in WARM climates to animals that SURVIVE in cold climates, it was an uphill battle, movin back into warm climates is like going downhill.... EASY TO DO!!!

Once it is clearly established that polar bear populations are thriving, far-left greens will probably complain that the polar bear species is in danger of devolving from its present adaptation to the extreme cold, therefore humans are responsible for ‘ruining’ the species anyway.
Polar bears have been around 250,000 years, way longer than man. They have managed to survive many different ice ages and warm periods. I think they’ll survive this non-event called global warming.
Add polar bears to the list of “deniers”. Probably lied to the survey takers.
I think more of the far left eco weenies should visit the polar bears so they can commune with them. Bring some tobasco with them.
