Mayors Against Illegal Guns, which organized the event in Newtown, also launched a bus tour that will travel to 25 states over 100 days to build support for legislation to expand background checks for gun buyers. Such legislation failed in the Senate in April.
The mayors group is also holding events in 10 states calling for lawmakers to expand background checks and urging senators who opposed the bill to reconsider. Those events, which include gun violence survivors and gun owners, will be held in Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Montana, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

WHY?! Why are we commemorating things BY THE MONTH?!
This is like an adolescent relationship where two teenagers celebrate: “Two weeks together!” “OMG! ONE MONTH!”
This is getting ridiculous. We should just put the flag at half-mast every day. I’m sure Obama and his idiot followers could find something to commemorate/memorialize.”
One more chance for Lib’s to dance in babies blood and spout their agenda.
Why don’t we commemorate the massacre at Wounded Knee?
Many more people, including women and children, were killed there by guns.
Or are we supposed to overlook the event because the Federal government (who was taking the land and killing off the food supply) was behind it?
I wonder when the bus tour begins which features some of the 3 - 4 million Americans who use a firearm every year for self-defense against dangerous criminals.
They can include the 14-year-old Houston boy who used an AR-15 to defend himself and his younger sister when two criminals tried to break into their home. The kids were home alone; one criminal tried to break in the front door of the house and his cahort tried to break in the back door. The 14-year-old shot and wounded one bad guy and scared away the other.
You won’t see this kid on tour with Bloomturd and his Sandy Hookers.
Sandy hookers. Nice one. Me likey. They have sold their souls. I believe psychologists call it projection when you lay blame or guilt on someone or something else in an illogical, unreasoned manner.
It’s been six months since the Incident at Newtown?Gee I didn’t even know it.Unfortunately I was working all day and I had other things to worry about.
Damn Gun Grabbers.
