One of my favorites, as well.

I think “The Rookie” is a very underrated father-son movie.

I just thought of another one; “Shenandoa”.

Oh, precisely, the remake by the Coen brothers with Jeff Bridges. Don't miss it.

And I”m straying from the topic, yes, but “3:10 to Zuma” better than the original...it is so...

Flight of the Phoenix and Stalag 17 do not strike me as Father and Son movies. Unless you watch them with your dad.

This might seem like an odd one, but “Enemy Mine” comes as close to father and son as any.

If anyone wanted to know my father, that movie is his biography. Not so much the prankster, but discipline was his rule.

I’ve been up since 2:30AM and I’m fading fast. Seeing as fathers day is a moment away from now I thought I’d provoke some memories or sentiment.

I miss my father and wish I could see him again. If yours is still with you, hold on tight.

Good night and God bless.

We watched a lot of 80s action movies. Top Gun, Iron Eagle, Commando, Rpbocop, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard.

While not movies, our tradition was
Mondays. MacGuyver followed by Monday Night Football. That and watching Lions lose.
