Looks like the greens are a little quicker. Should be an epic day at an epic venue. Nice piece on Francis Ouimet on now.
Happy Fathers day to all out there - especially mine, who realized that I could never hit a curve ball and make it to the show like he did. He nudged me to golf and it's been a big part of my life ever since.
Rooting for Phil, but rooting for Merion as well. Show some teeth old girl!

Rooting for Stricker here. Reputedly one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. His short game rival Phils which is why they’re both at the top at Merion.

There's a very good chance of heavy rain late this afternoon up there..Day or Horschel could have a good round today..and then it might get interesting for those behind them..

I was watching the live stream this morning from the US Open web site. Tiger, missing puts and fairways, and I think I saw him spit on the second or third green. I don’t think he’s peed or dumped in any of the cups..., yet.
Is a gob of spit considered a loose impediment?
