I've had about ENOUGH about the bullies at school. Taught my kids to FIGHT as long as they don't start it. But they've really 'jumped the shark' on this one. I guess we can expect 'gov intervention' on this? Seriously?

LOL my sister was brutal. I learned early on not to screw with her.
When we were teenagers I did something to make her mad and I came home in the middle of the night and found 6 goats locked in my bedroom. (I had a walkout basement bedroom)
They have been coming after our children for years.
My brother used to pin me down, sit on my face, and fart. That’s just for starters! I have sooooooo many stories. Made me tough! Which is WHY they want this to end!!!!!
YOU HAVE TO LEARN TO FIGHT!!!!
I’ve already told my kids that they will not be socially engineered. Period!
The rules, according to my parents, were 1. Work it out between yourselves. 2) don’t tattle (see rule 1). 3. If you do tattle, expect equal punishment (see rule 1).
I know this sounds extreme, but it worked. Yes, my brother gave me “ Indian burns” and tortured me in many ways...I paid him back by tagging along everywhere he went..LOL!
I adored him until the day he died, I think fondly of those times he “bullied” me. It’s just part of life, of growing up.
My family has always been ruthless and tough. Its a good thing and I have plenty of fond memories.
what about govenrment bulllying citizens and families? Is thaT covered too in the report?

Eeeeeek- the dreaded shadow- You monster- lol
Awesome story. Thanks for sharing that.
My sister used to poke me in the stomach after big meals like on thanksgiving and say “I can touch your spine”.
Whenever our parents weren’t around my older brother always beat me up and I never fought back. One day he was beating my head against the wall and I kicked him in the groin and when he bent over to wail in pain I raked my nails up and down his back and then I ran for my life after telling him if he ever touched me again I would kill him.
I meant it.
After we were adults he got mad at me and was going to hit me! I couldn’t believe it. I grabbed a 16 oz Coke in a glass bottle and told him I would hit him with it and when I was finished with him my husband would kick his arse.
Needless to say I haven’t kept a relationship with him at all since then.
Eeeeeek- the dreaded shadow- You monster- lol
LOL! I usually wanted to tag along because of all his good looking buddies - which was the reason he didn’t want me tagging along. He knew his friends better than I did.
The US Army came into my mother`s bar early during the Vietnam War to talk about about a local young man who volunteered. [He used to start big bar brawls with everyone in the bar when he was young]
The Army asked my Mom “What is your statement concerning this man since he gave you as a reference?” My Mom said, Well, he`s good with his fists.” They said “ That`s all we have to know!”
He fought in Vietnam and was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for protecting his men from atop an armored vehicle while firing a machinegun from the hip exposed to enemy fire- killing 28 Vietcong and saving his men.
Only child, torturous siblings. Whatever the case, childhood is a bitch.
I remember the last time my younger brother and I had a fight. I really had to hurt him to win, and I knew that wasn’t going to happen the next time.
On one tag along, to a ranch for trail riding. He and a friend-in-crime paired me (without my knowledge)’ with a cuttin’ horse.
On a cliff side trail in the redwoods, I barely moved that reign to the left and that horse turned a 180’ so that I was facing one way and he the other...ROFLOL!,,, then he went barreling back to the ranch, me hanging on for my life...
Served me right!
Bubba government, the biggest bully of them all, is going to protect us from bullies.
Good one!
That reminds me of when I was young and the worse thing I could think to call my brother in anger was “ Buddy Bellybutton”
LOL! It pissed him off at thirteen and at thirty LOL!
[[which was the reason he didnt want me tagging along. He knew his friends better than I did.]]
He was watchign otu for you- I wouldn’t have wanted my firends dating my sister either- they were no good brutes-
Well, now that just sounds dysfunctional.
My husband had a family like that. I am so sorry for you.
Behavior like that is learned. Love between siblings is also learned.
Kind of like your parents not taking sides or making you apologize to the other even if you don’t mean it...some parents, well, they lack that skill.
