Far-left filmmaker Oliver Stone is mourning the loss of late Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez as only the director can. He's making a movie about the failed socialist leader. Chavez, who died earlier this year after a long battle with cancer, will be the subject of Stone's next film, according to AFP.
Oliver Stone is making a very beautiful film about our commander Hugo Chavez... that he will likely finish in the next months," [President Nicolas] Maduro said on Thursday, at an event in the northwestern state of Lara....
Maduro said that one of Stone's producers informed him about the film while on an official trip in Paris.
Stone previously filmed South of the Border, a 2009 documentary fawning over not only Chavez but fellow leftist leaders like Chavez, Evo Morales (Bolivia) and Rafael Correa (Ecuador).

lol! That should attract the h’wood asshats like free shrimp at the barby.
Shouldn’t he do a Stalin biopic first?
It already won every film award in Hollywood!
Who is going to play the parrot?
Wasting away in Parrotrigaville..
Funny how all his Kalishnakov factory’s came online within months of his death.
This guy was building a threat in our backyard, and it is still there.
How ‘bout the Saddam-lookalike current dictator of Venezuela ?
Will it include the “Capitalism killed everyone on the Planet Mars” theory of El Hugo?
Will Stone document the Communist threat this guy was?
He wanted to be the new Castro complete with Ballistic missiles.
Keep an eye on that transfer of power.
Anyone remember this armory going up on a Sunday night in 2011?
Buh Bye Hugo
“Who is going to play the parrot?”
But how on earth will they control the crowds on opening night!!!!!!!?
So, I guess this is hugo and series?
Stone has been on a losing streak for over a decade now. That movie Nixon was awful. The rest since, not so good either!
I mean,you gotta admit...that's a whole lotta toilet paper.
Liberals will flock to that movie like Christians to “Passion of the Christ.” And watch what happens when Fidel Castro goes room temp....
Parrots have more intelligence and discernment than Sean Penn.
In Before The Preppers’ PING!
Gilbert Gottfried of course.
Casting for the lead role?
I say Alfred Molina.
But he’s too a good an actor, he could probably make that piece of filth come off sympathetic as directed by that moronic sack of crap, Stone.
Cast some insane Hollywood marxist that won't need to actually act to play the role. Alec Baldwin would be good. If Fred Armisen can be Obama, Baldwin could certainly be made up to look latino. If that's too controversial, just cast an actual latino like Martin Sheen (who would require the same makeup job anyway since he's a "white latino", but there's no arguing with lefties to say it's racist to have a non-hispanic play a hispanic)
Sheen is small guy he would need a fatsuit. :D
I share your disdain for the Hispanic/Latino classification, no other ethno-linguistic group gets that kind of treatment. Neither are races. A lot of are White including Sheen and everyone from Spain, some are Black. The people usually refereed to as “Hispanic” or “Latino” here are darker skinned folk (”brown”) of mixed white and Amerindian blood, Spanish word “mestizo”. I think they are certainly numerous enough to be considered a race of their own. Just calling them Brown would make sense, “pardo” (brown) is what mixed race people are called in Brazil. East Asians are called “amarillo” (yellow) that would be “racist” here of course.
Just whipped up a quick latin american version of Alec Baldwin in photoshop. He’d need latex ears to match Hugo’s, but otherwise all the facial features are perfect. And it would save Oliver Stone time from having to finish the script. Just put Alec in front of a camera and ask him to tell us his thoughts about Bush:
Hugo and dead series.
Separated at birth!
Sheen can play Kim Jong-Il.
It’ll be fine, White people used to play Asian all the time, Marlo Thomas played a Chinese girl on an episode of “Bonanza”.
