TOR can’t totally protect you from this. You can be tracked by the uniqueness of your writing and other habits... time of day for internet activity, punctuation habits, and lots of other things.
can you cite?
That’s about all I will say about that :)
(are you DT from Texas?)
Today , I called my Congress Critter (Dem/Libturd) on my cellphone , because I didn’t want to run up my landline phone bill at 12:30 PM.
I called and stated my opposition to the proposed Immigration bill on their answering machine, apparently during lunch hour.
I called back about an hour and a half later, again on the cellphone at 1:30 PM , since I didnt indicate he was my representative.
The Congressional office personell advised me that they had recieved my message ,
and confirmed my name (!), address (!) , and landline phone number (!)( that I hadn’t given them).
They indicated they already had my information in their database , and asked if I wanted to give them my email address
for written announcements , and I declined stating that I already recieved enough spam .
My point ~ they already had data on me that I had not already given them
There is no annonimity anymore
schm0e ~:” and the list of what they had that they didn’t tell you is probably three times longer.”
Right ! Wait until they have access to my entire medical history next year !!
It seems under HIPPA , everyone will have access to my medical records (NSA /IRS/ CIA/Exectutive / etc. ),
.. except for me !
OK, I did a search and got two possibles, one a guy in Texas and one some sort of financial trader type number cruncher guy.
The Texas guy has a great twitter feed :-)
One of his recent tweets was “Maybe the SEC should investigate NSA for insider trading” .. my kinda guy :-)
Anyways, welcome to FreeRepublic...you are going to fit right in here.
think of it as an information-age application of the placebo effect.
nsa has all the details.
