Delaware Volunteer Guard shared America's Misled Patriots status. Tuesday Interesting take on events. Seventy-two killed resisting gun confiscation in Boston
BOSTON National guard units seeking to confiscate a cache of recently banned assault weapons were ambushed on April 19th by elements of a Para-military extremist faction. Military and law enforcement sources estimate that 72 were killed and more than 200 injured before government forces were compelled to withdraw.
Speaking after the clash, Massachusetts Governor Thomas Gage declared that the extremist faction, which was made up of local citizens, has links to the radical right-wing tax protest movement. Gage blamed the extremists for recent incidents of vandalism directed against internal revenue offices. The governor, who described the group's organizers as "criminals," issued an executive order authorizing the summary arrest of any individual who has interfered with the government's efforts to secure law and order. The military raid on the extremist arsenal followed wide-spread refusal by the local citizenry to turn over recently outlawed assault weapons.
Gage issued a ban on military-style assault weapons and ammunition earlier in the week. This decision followed a meeting in early this month between government and military leaders at which the governor authorized the forcible confiscation of illegal arms.
One government official, speaking on condition of anonymity, pointed out that "none of these people would have been killed had the extremists obeyed the law and turned over their weapons voluntarily." Government troops initially succeeded in confiscating a large supply of outlawed weapons and ammunition. However, troops attempting to seize arms and ammunition in Lexington met with resistance from heavily-armed extremists who had been tipped off regarding the government's plans. During a tense standoff in Lexington 's town park, National Guard Colonel Francis Smith, commander of the government operation, ordered the armed group to surrender and return to their homes. The impasse was broken by a single shot, which was reportedly fired by one of the right-wing extremists. Eight civilians were killed in the ensuing exchange.
Ironically, the local citizenry blamed government forces rather than the extremists for the civilian deaths. Before order could be restored, armed citizens from surrounding areas had descended upon the guard units.
Colonel Smith, finding his forces over matched by the armed mob, ordered a retreat.
Governor Gage has called upon citizens to support the state/national joint task force in its effort to restore law and order. The governor also demanded the surrender of those responsible for planning and leading the attack against the government troops. Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, and John Hancock, who have been identified as "ringleaders" of the extremist faction, remain at large.
. . . And this, people, is how the American Revolution began .
April 20, 1775 Read this twice my friends. It is historical. ~GR
And this time it will be called that way by the enemedia, when the Constitutionalists take it to the encroaching statists' forces.
I get your point but, at that time, the rebels were the left-wing extremists. Those who fought for King and Country were the right-wing loyalists.
Don’t throw a wet rag on it. I loved it.
...and Neighborhood Watch volunteers.
Just remember - TODAY, Right is Left, Down is Up, Right is Wrong, etc....
Just remember - TODAY, Right is Left, Down is Up, Right is Wrong, etc....
After we restore our lost constitutional republic, leftist extremists are going to feel very, very sorry for themselves: they chose the wrong side of history.
Sounds like those racist, sexist, bigoted, homophobic Sons of Liberty.
It’s our American duty to protect the Constitution.
Any organized armed revolt is being watched for on all lines of communication and will be squashed.
There may be a revolt, but it won't get out of first gear.
Dang, I thought ‘Sons of Liberty’ said it all didn’t need all those descriptors muddying up the water and deceiving...
When it comes to having the means to protect from tyranny and feed oneself if need be, there is no LEFT or RIGHT descriptor need - a simple PATRIOT will suffice.
Question (and more) Authority.
Sounds like the civil war is starting. Next time I fear that the liberal communists better start running.
You a crazy ass Cracker? ;-)
[[One at a time. They don’t care how they get the firearms.]]
And that’s precisely how they are goign to do it- they’ve got time on their side=- in NY they aere using hte health care system to systematically one by one conmfiscate guns from peopel who have EVER taken any psycotropic medicines regardless of for what or for how long- They’ve already begun doing that because they are freakin cowards- they know that if they begin an all out confiscation measure, peopel will find the courage to group together sdtreet by street and resist, and so what do the govenrment cowards do? Yep- hit individuals when they kleast expecvt it,. when they are aloen and vulnerable- and htis WILL go national as well- thsi is precisely why the federal govenrment has worked the language into their bill to address ‘mental health issues’ which opens the door wide open for goveremnt to walk in and confiscate for NO valiud reason
BOSTONIANS BEAR ARMS
``After the Battle of Lexington, British General Thomas Gage occupied Boston, Massachusetts. After negotiating with the town committee, Gage agreed to let the inhabitants of Boston leave town with their families and effects, if they surrendered all arms. While most of the residents of Boston stayed, those who left under the agreement surrendered 1778 firearms, 634 pistols, 273 bayonets, and only 38 blunderbusses``.

Gage is indeed correct in his concern about the right-wing extremists. Didn’t they pull off something called the Tea Party, or something like that, about a year and a half earlier?
Could easily take place again next week, next month, or next year. Thanks!
I’m really offended to be called a cracker! (sarc extreme)
It just makes me laugh!...What a bunch of idiots!
(Since the gov't "economy" decided I should be "retired", my (yellow) dog and I spend all sorts of time out in the sun.)
Dunno. Revolutions are complex things. It certainly favors the current regime for the rabble to believe that “resistance is futile.” For me it wouldn’t matter if it was, because duty trumps utility. But for most people the strategy is effective, and that is why it is being used. One of the more oddball theories, for example, about Snowden and the all-seeing eye of the NSA is it was necessary to cool off all the leakers and whistleblowers, who were actually beginning to really hurt the junta. Now everybody is scared, and that’s how they want it to be. Because truth be told, if we all acted in unison, without fear, and without concern for our individual outcomes, we could pull the left out of power in short order and they know it. They are all psyops, smoke and mirrors. They need us to believe there is no point to action. We have everything we need to succeed, except for the will to win.
That is what worries me...
I understand that the POTUS, Congressmen and Senators also swear to protect the Constitution.
Why don’t they do it?
“Any organized armed revolt is being watched for on all lines of communication and will be squashed. There may be a revolt, but it won’t get out of first gear.”
As someone stated here a while back, what are they going to do when it erupts in 10,000 towns and cities across the country?
They won’t be able to contain it all and will fall back to isolate predetermined targets, mainly large cities with strategic assets.
Excellent. Not that it will sink in to the America haters. They’re the same ones that would have sold out the Minutemen because they were nothing more than a bunch of malcontent rabble-rousers.
oh, it could kick into high gear. Thing is, supporters of the Constitution must stop using forums like this immediately, reach out discretely to like minded individuals while staying off the radar, and setup the classic cell structure for operations. This step has not been done. As in any such situation it will. The Constitutionalists aren’t quite to that point yet. Immigration bill may be the tipping point during this long hot summer. Queer marriage should have been, piled on top of all the nsa, irs scandals. But for some reason it didn’t reach critical mass. People are still to fat and happy - another crash comes later this year and that will change fast.
The capacity of the American voters to tolerate ANYTHING is truly amazing...
This is terrific!
I guess the question that really needs to be asked, but hasn’t, is this:
Is the United States of America, with its current population, worth saving? As a culture, is it worth redeeming? That is the question Commander Adama asked right before the Cylon invasion. Not sure he thought they were. Sadly, my answer would tilt towards no at the moment.
This may be a situation where revolution is not an option. Instead, total collapse of the system - much like the marxists are attempting - or starting fresh in a distant land may be a more wise solution. I don’t know. And never thought I would ponder such questions about my country.
If total collapse is the best solution, then the question becomes how? Just let the marxists complete their little project? If starting fresh is the solution, then where and how?
Much as I hate the thought, it would be one way to know who the enemy was...
All messages will have to be in cursive to avoid decrypting.
That would be cruel and unusual punishment for them - they wouldn't know what was going on.... (as if they ever did)
Didn't Patrick Henry come close to saying that in a few more words?
The government has been increasingly reliant on technology for intelligence gathering. Given the recent NSA, IRS, Google ,and Facebook revelations, the next revolution will have to rely on good old fashioned low tech methods coupled with awareness of the high tech surveillance methods.
Yep, recognized it, but it then made me think of the Virginian Patrick Henry... as well as ‘Live Free or Die’ in NH - all thoughts we will need to be dealing with in the near future.
LOL! That’s wonderful!
Saving for later
Oh, me, too. And I think the day is coming. The only question is, where will our Lexington be?
Not quite. The identical conditions apply today. As with King George, we have an out of control government today that is oppressing the people and limiting their freedom. The revolutionaries were fighting for the same concerns our Tea Party espouses such as limited government.
