Isn’t there any human crime in the jurisdiction to investigate and solve?

Sounds like they have it all on video. I hope they end up owning the local police franchise.

one day these thug punks with badges are gonna shoot the wrong dog and are gonna end up regretting it, for a few seconds at least.

Cane Corso’s can be scarey dogs BUT from the story, and supposedly the video backs it up, this dog did nothing to warrant being shot. For crying out loud the cops were called for a loose dog and arrived with dog catching equipment. I find myself wishing they had run into a ferocious cane corso that retired both of these menaces due to disability. Just like bullfighting, I am rooting for the dogs.

This is one of endless stories about cops shooting dogs unnecessarily. How can the public trust “law enforcement” who would behave like this? I get sick and tired of reading about reckless shooting incidents against animals and citizens because some cop “felt threatened.” They signed up to be threatened.

Incompetent cop shot the dog THREE TIMES and didn’t kill it?

I’m convinced this is a Benghazi Barry Soetoro tactic to push people to react.

He may eat dog, but Americans LOVE their dogs.

Barry’s waiting for someone to snap.

Sounds rather strange. In most jurisdictions don’t cops
have to complete copious quantities of paperwork after
firing their weapons?

Just out of curiosity, why don’t I ever see stories of courageous police officers shooting cats? Are cats a neglected species? Does the EPA protect them? Are courageous police officers afraid of cats?

These types of cops will cause more and more people to hate cops. I would not want a job where I am despised by the public en masse.

It is not just shooting dogs....
Before leaving the USSA for good in 2004, I noticed that cops, even in small towns, had morphed from being the “good old boy” to being jack-booted thugs, who thought of themselves
as lord and master over the citizens.

"The two South Holland officers arrived while plaintiff Randy Green and his family were asleep inside of their home, and where Mr. Green's Cane Corso dog, Grady, was sitting on the front porch.

I assume Mr. Green owes a phone...what the hell happened to common sense...

"Mr. Green...this is the police officer in front of your house, your dog got loose, can you please get him under control and back on a leash...?

Now file a USC983 suit against them. Then file trespassing charges, reckless endangerment, and mopery with intent to creep.

Once the lawsuits are settled and these creeps are bankrupt and no longer police officers the real fun can begin.

I want to hear the other side.

But as it is, this sounds absolutely ridiculous. I can’t even count the ways.

Do they not have animal control in that district? Why didn’t the complainant call the pound? Maybe animal people would better handle this. Don’t know why you’d call police about a loose dog.
