I can’t get GT to play on Opera, but it’s playing on Firefox. Talking on one, listening on another. Heh. I installed AdBlock and Ghostery, and Opera’s not happy.

New spotting scope.

I have the version with angled eyepiece. 18-38x50mm. Seems to work well, but haven't taken it to the range yet. Looked at Saturn with it the other night and the image was fairly crisp and clear, though pretty small at only 38x. Put a 5M air rifle target on the fence (bullseye is size of a penny) and looked at it from about 50 ft. away. Was able to read all the small text on the target with no problem.

Multi-media deprived, but thought I’d drop in and say “hi”.

Picked up a new toy last week - a Springfield M1A SOCOM 16” barrel .308. Unfinished walnut stock arrived Friday. Got some fittin’ and finishin’ to do this week. :)
