I wonder if the Founders knew that their creation would incite many a logochomy decades and centuries later.

It is cool being here, although the weather is hot and humid.

Happy 4th to you as well...

Obama’s minions logomachy
Leads them to be distrusted
No matter how they spin it
They always just get busted

Holder, Lerner-even Mueller-
The lies are so outrageous
And spread so fast you wonder
If they might be contagious

The emperor has a foot-in-mouth
When it comes to Egypt, too
If only he would just shut up-
It is the best thing to do...

What few summer people still have money to come to their cabins on this road are as inconsiderate and contemptuous as ever of those of us who live here-there were already loose, unaccompanied dogs on the trails just after dawn this morning, barking and threatening enough that I yelled at them and sent a handful of pebbles in their direction. There are empty beer cans and firecracker wrappers dropped along the edge of the main trail that were not there yesterday.

I’ll be sure I’m watching carefully after dark so that some idiot does not start a fire on the road with fireworks. There is a burn ban, but that never matters to people like these...

Perhaps we can kidnap the TOTUS again. That always leaves him stammering in the dust. A+ for you. My poor dog had to endure neighborhood firecrackers and fireworks again and barked and barked. Our city celebration was cancelled due to the steady downpour all day and night. All the towns in the midstate canceled the pyrotechnics this week.

Thank you!

The fireworks on this road didn’t last long-hardly anyone is here to set them off-but it was enough to send the cats scurrying into the bedroom, and Husky girl was lying right on my feet while I watched TV until the noise quit.
