CNN talker Piers Morgan is already suffering from consistently weak ratings. So it's hard to imagine U.S.-based viewers will flock to his show after reading his Fourth of July tweet.
Morgan could be playing the cheeky outsider here, looking to stir up comments on his Twitter account on a beloved American holiday. The Twitter brigade will have the last say on this front.

F- you, Piers Morgan.
I bet Piers doesn’t realize his George III was German....
Asshat. Well, at least he’s not useless — he serves as a constant reminder why the founders declared independence from his home country.
When the revolution comes, Piers better get his ass on the first flight back to London...
Confidential to Piers: We Won - get over it.
“I bet Piers doesnt realize his George III was German...”
Or that we are speaking Saxon.
Why would anyone lament independence from England at this point? It is hardly a new land of opportunity...
Why is this CS still in this country?
I can’t imagine that a American would last very long on British TV even if he was only have the D#&bA$$ Piers is. I am sure by now Her Majesty Government would have revoked their Visa and sent them packing on a one way trip back to the ‘Colonies’.
Imagine that...he can't get any ratings and resorts to being a clown...
anyone who spells his name “Piers” is a either a homo, or a metrosexual liberal asshat
anyone who spells his name Piers is a either a homo, or a metrosexual liberal asshat...Or his mother hung out at the docks too much.
Because the Brits don't want him back.
His mother named him after Piers Gaveston, an influential figure in England in the middle ages. She had a premonition that he would turn out the same way.
i just love knowing we’ re living in his head rent-free. happy 4th.
i think everyoneshould wish pierre’s morgan a happy 4th, from the country that kicked his country’s ass.
Piers Morgan seems to be bothered by most everything about the USA, maybe he should go back to the UK. I’m sick of the pansy twit.
Someone should point out to Morgan that if George III had prevailed, he, Morgan, could very well find himself returning to Britain to face charges from the hacking scandal.
So says the nitwit with nil ratings.
It only took and hour at the battle of Kings Mountain
Is this liberal fool still in my country? He needs to go the hell home. He’s worn out his welcome here more than once. Flippin’ idiot.
Was Gaveston hung or pilloried?
I just would ignore the dope.
On 19 June, he was taken out on the road towards Kenilworth as far as Blacklow Hill, which was on the Earl of Lancaster’s land. Here, two Welshmen ran him through with a sword and beheaded him. (Wikipedia)
I just would ignore the dope.
Tar and feather the Tory
Well maybe we can hope for a happy ending with regard to Mr. Morgan if his mother was right.
I think Piers wants to be on my Purge List.
IIRC, Piers, like English Bob here, thought he could trash the US on Independence Day. So, we’ll have to call him English Piers. If only Little Bill were around to send him packing too.
See my earlier comments about the Turlock flag vandalism.
And Bette Midler wishes the same thing.
Morgan needs to understand that there are plenty of us that would go Little Bill Daggett on his English Bob ass, if he were to say that to our face.
Dang... I hadn’t scrolled down to your post. You nailed it.
George Washington might have said that George III was insane. He would have been right. As for why Piers Morgan is still in the USA, it’s because of our more recent, anti-family, pro-free-traitor immigration policy. He’s filthy rich and corrupt.
>Hes worn out his welcome here more than once.<
Why single the poor bloke out when you have 11,000,000 more to worry about.
Nahh. Born and bred Englishman. Although admittedly of German ancestry.
Our Revolution was all the result of a misunderstanding. The Founders were under the impression that the British government was conspiring to enslave them.
We have all the records of that government’s deliberations, and there just were no such intentions. They were incompetent, not malicious.
While I prefer America as it is, being a really large powerful Canada wouldn’t have been the worst of all possible fates.
OTOH, a major reason Canada, Oz, etc. turned out the way they did was because the Brits were taught a really harsh lesson in America, and learned from it.
George didn’t start going nuts till 1788 or so.
He was actually one of the most decent human beings who ever reigned as a monarch. Much like his contemporary Louis XVI, they didn’t deserve what happened to them. Most of their ancestors did, but not them.
Does Piers wish England had kept India, too?
Even George III would come out of his madness long enough to refer to it as “my tedious illness”, and to apologize to the ladies he had offended with his insane ourbursts.
More class than Piers Morgan. Lots more.
As an island nation, Britain was not well-suited for fighting an inland war. Their excursion away from the coast deep into South Carolina proved to be their downfall.
Piers should get a good old fashioned tar and feathering...
Dunno, but afaic, India can have Piers Morgan. ;’)
George III suffered bouts of insanity which in his lucid moments he referred to as “my tedious illness”, but in another of those moments the King observed of George Washington’s presidency (ominously in his view) “If Washington relinquishes power as he promised, then every thing ever written about his greatness will have been proven true.”
King George would have had Piers Morgan hung, drawn & quartered as a disgrace to the realm.
