Mr.L: Why the GOP May Become the GDP (Grand Dead Party)
You Tube ^ | Jul 4, 2013 | Mr L

The GOP may become the GDP (Grand Dead Party) if it keeps following the formula of insanity. That is doing the same thing over and over again and getting the same result.

For example: Support RINO candidate + Alienate conservative base = Loss in general election. Or: Support RINO candidate + Win by a hair + Stick middle finger at conservative base + Govern like a progressive = Ruining the republican brand. If Sarah Palin leaves the GOP, I'm going with her. WaPo writer Dan Balz spills the beans on the Romney campaign ala "Game Change" style in his new book "Collision 2012." Leaked information about the book makes me ask, was it a coincidence that Sarah Palin's bus tour commenced at the same time Romney was seriously considering ending his 2012 campaign in May 2011?

Oh it’s dead. I just hope we have enough sense to get out of it before it takes us with it.

MAY Become?....It is long past dead. Stick a fork in it.
Unfortunately, a third part will not save America from inevitable demise.

It died for me in '96. Dole/Kemp was the last straw. I've voted for Pubbies since then, but it's always for the individual, not the party.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

I’ve already decided to vote against any incumbent in the AL elections of ‘14. Grant you, I will not vote for rats. So if the RINO gets past the primary, I’ll either vote third party or leave it blank.

I’d vote for a Den if a fiscal conservative and pro gun rights.

What I won’t vote for is a GOP candidate that has said one thing when I meet with them but votes exactly the opposite way or at least won’t take a stand.

The GOP is nothing but a false front of opposition to the
communist take over of this country.
The tards are only 20% of the population yet they get
everything they want and all we get is laughed at because
of the complicit republican party. There should be no
compromise with the democrats on anything.

The thing that you do not understand is that the Republican elected officials and party leadership fear conservative victory more than they fear leftist victory.

You and others persist in missing the point that running the "RINO" candidate and alienating the so-called base is the whole point of their life's work.

And "RINO" is a very bad term. THEY ARE THE REAL REPUBLICANS.

I keep it simple - - I vote for bona fide conservative Republicans ONLY. The "hold my nose" crap was over long, long ago and that fraud Romney was no exception. The GOPe can do whatever the hell it wants, and if destroying the GOP is what they want, then they should (continue to) go for it. Meanwhile, if a conservative wants to run as a Republican or anything else, I don't care. I will vote for the conservative, not "the Republican".

I’d vote for a Den if a fiscal conservative and pro gun rights.

Then you'd be voting for Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Elena Kagan. Better to stay home.

Deregister now! I did it 6 years ago. Lowering the registration numbers enough to scare the GOPe is the only way.

Third party or retake the GOP. Either way it starts with registration as an independent.

It’s time for your personal Independence Day.

That is doing the same thing over and over again and getting the same result.

Bzzzt. Wrong.

Einstein's definition of insanity is "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

There was a little ditty that went around at the start of WWII, it was called “No Balls at All”. It was referring to the white balls that were found on the controls of the airplanes at that time. But, in weeks there were at least 20 versions of it. Do you understand? That is the reason that the GOP is in terminal condition. What they need is a fire breathing public speaker who can explain what and why we are in this condition.

I’ll still vote GOP for now.

But I’m pretty darn ready, to be talked to another party.

Just saying.

They are not fiscal conservatives. Did you really believe they are?
