Nicholas County, WV woman arrested on forgery charges connected to Alabama cold case

A West Virginia woman has been arrested on 17 counts of forgery connected to two elderly Alabama women who have been missing for more than a decade.

Wanda Kiser, a former neighbor of the missing women, was arrested Tuesday, July 9 in Nicholas County, WV.

In July 2012, a human skull was discovered underneath the women's Alabama home. The skull, the only bones found to this point, was sent to the State of Alabama Department of Forensic Science but investigators have not yet been able to identify the skull.

I wonder how long the social security checks of the two missing women continued being cashed after they went missing?

Nicholas County? Home of Oak Hill & Summersville! I’m surprised there were any police not assigned to speed traps along Rt 19 to handle such an inquiry.
