***I TOOK THIS PHOTO THROUGH THE WINDOW INSIDE MY HOUSE***Felt the need to share this picture I took yesterday. We are currently stationed in Albuquerque NM. These boys got off their bikes at 5pm as colors and the National anthem started. They stood at attention in the direction of the flag and didn't move until it was done. I was most impressed with the removal of their helmets. This made my day seeing this. Their parents are raising a couple of fine little men.

the kids on base where we were stationed were taught to do this as well, the older kids setting the example for the younger ones.
Wow! Good thing these kids weren’t in school or they’d be suspended for such radical behavior.

I really love that at our community swimming pool, the flag is raised and the anthem is played at noon every day, and everyone stands and salutes/covers her heart/is silent. I’ve never seen anyone be disrespectful, even children, though I know not everyone is conservative.
I wonder how many more years it will happen, til some atheist/queer/commie member moves in and complains that his “civil rights” are being violated.
