Letting Go - The Zimmerman Trial
7/14/13 | self

Posted on 07/14/2013 1:58:15 AM PDT by Lmo56

When African Americans don't get their desired result in court - the verdict is always racist.

Yet, if the ethnicities in the Zimmerman trial had been reversed, they would have proclaimed the verdict as a great day for America.

It is time that they take a long, hard look in the mirror and ask just WHO exactly the racists are.

When things go in their favor, they are model citizens. When they don't, they fall back upon the racial oppression that their forebearers faced.

Talk about a double standard. It is time for them to get over it. Sure, from time to time, their objections are warranted - this ain't one of them.

In this case, it was a confluence of a young man making a bad decision going after a man who he [incorrectly] thought was planning on doing him harm. And, a man who thought that he was protecting the neighborhood that met up with him and defended himself. The result was tragic.

It is time for reason to prevail - and for all who are following this case, to accept the outcome and move on.

Even when things go their way they are seldom model
citizens. Look at how they often act out when their
favorite sports teams WIN. Look at the “flash mob”
mentality where they twitter/FB a plan to meet at
some predetermined place/time to go all “white girl
bleed a lot” on whoever happens to cross their path.

Nope.....inner city black youths are for the most part
inherently racist, inherently violent and certainly not
to be turned a back to....otherwise you find yourself playing an unannounced game of “knockout king”.

Why should blacks bother doing any such thing when neither President You Didn't Build That and his "administration" nor the failed main stream "news" media will?

The Chicagoization and Detroitification of America continue.

That thought never entered his mind - Martin just didn't want to be watched by a crappy *ss cracka. He arrived home only to circle back and sucker punched George to the ground, got on top of him and pounded his head into the cement. He's was a violent and angry thug who hated whites. Children live what they learn and that is black hate whites. And then they hear 'they acted stupidly'.

It is time for reason to prevail

TRUTH prevailed.

Martin caused his own death and was the instigator. He was suspended from school for a reason.

It's racist to contend that whites should and do fear the black man. It's racist to predict that blacks will riot if they don't control the verdict in a trial. It's an attempt to compensate for their racism for politicians and the media to side with the black kid instead of letting the jury decide.

It is not racist to patiently wait for trial by jury and a verdict, then there be spontaneous firewords demonstrations when justice and our legal system prevail.

And how about a US President not soon after the shooting declaring that Treyvon Martin was the victim? And he's a constitutional LAWYER?? I must be Alice and this must be Wonderland.

Could it be that REAL Americans, constitutional conservatives, are finally going to demand a return to equality and restoring everything we've lost? And that our politicians finally listen to us?

PS: Isn't it ironic that these same political and media powers that sided with Treyvon Martin are doing everything they can to replace blacks with hispanics in the US?

"It is time that they take a long, hard look in the mirror and ask just WHO exactly the racists are."

Great sentiment, won't happen.

Across the mainstream of society racism has been just about eliminated in "white" people. It has been replaced by "white" guilt, black racism, and a deeply ingrained feeling of entitlement. This shift has been fostered and encouraged by thousands of race hustlers. These people have built careers and livelihoods on this new status quo and they will not let it go.

They range from "preachers" like Sharpton and Jackson to people like Valarie Jarret, Eric Holder and the president himself. They are backed by a compliant, liberal media. As long as they people are given credence this new status quo will continue.

Well the silence of the Obama White House to the verdict means, it is time to move on.

Last night the old, beat-up race card has been to use a term, “declined”.

Thanks. Good vid. The man has sense and is teaching what Trayvon never learned. Hopefully, some are teachable and the rest can learn the hard way.

Those advocating “revenge” because mob rule didnt agree with the rule of law better start thinking REAL hard about the consequences for their argument.

Given there is several times the black on white crime as white on black, every acquittal in the future will now justify vigilante justice if mob rule overshadows and follows the rule of law in any controversial case, and minorities have a LOT more to lose here.

No, this was a young criminal who didn't want to be stopped from committing a crime.

The result was tragic

With all due respect > bullshit.

The consequence of Martin's thug game, like the verdict that exonerated his intended victim, was JUST.

This society would move quickly toward polite if the same scenario were to be repeated as many times each day as there are feral thug predators.

'Letting go' means absolutely nothing to the rabid animal aiming for your throat.

The article is right on target, but unfortunately you may as well ask the sun not to shine.

These people have 200 years of hate Whitey built up in the and they aren’t about to change now.

There is racism in America\,but the fault for it is 30% white and 70% black.

“Across the mainstream of society racism has been just about eliminated in “white” people”
I think you have hit on something in that statement. Even if someone harbors concerns about certain behaviors displayed by those of another race, however mild, it would be never be publicly expressed anywhere by a white person. Today political correctness and imagined guilt fuels the minds of the majority of white people. It is supported by the entertainment industry, the media, and most of all the academia.

Count me as very surprised.

Very simple really: Martin drew first blood. Zimmerman could not have done that to himself. Martin could not have done that after being shot through the heart.

Genesis 9:6
Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

Calling Martin’s death a tragedy is no different than calling a tragedy to a rapist who is killed in the act. They both had it coming. But for his gun, GZ may well be dead now or paralyzed.

Precisely

The real 'tragedy' is the year-long travesty perpetrated against GZ by agents of the state at several levels.

I appreciate it.

With Obama in the WH and Holder at DOJ, this is not going to change, or end well. Both are racist rabble rousers at best. They have their positions and have built their careers around race, and they will not change or let go.

Zimmerman is going to be hounded by DOJ. Obama will continue his racist rants. Things will get no better.

What they are doing, of course, is actually ENCOURAGING racism in white people by their very actions. Look for the KKK or similar white supremacist groups to rise and prosper, especially in bad economic times. Whites are well armed, what do you think the "gun control" push is all about.. Holder and Obama will provide the anger and injustice to ignite racial divisions. Count on it.

IF he hadn’t been suspended from school for his bad behavior—he would NOT have been in that complex in the first place.

It is time for his family to really understand how much Trayvon contributed to his own demise.

Thomas Sowell agrees with me too:

"Over the generations, black leaders have ranged from noble souls to shameless charlatans. After the success of the civil rights insurgency, the latter have come into their own, gaining money, power and fame by promoting racial attitudes and actions that are counterproductive to the interests of those they lead."

He says it better, though.
