Letting Go - The Zimmerman Trial
7/14/13 | self

Posted on 07/14/2013 1:58:15 AM PDT by Lmo56

When African Americans don't get their desired result in court - the verdict is always racist.

Yet, if the ethnicities in the Zimmerman trial had been reversed, they would have proclaimed the verdict as a great day for America.

It is time that they take a long, hard look in the mirror and ask just WHO exactly the racists are.

When things go in their favor, they are model citizens. When they don't, they fall back upon the racial oppression that their forebearers faced.

Talk about a double standard. It is time for them to get over it. Sure, from time to time, their objections are warranted - this ain't one of them.

In this case, it was a confluence of a young man making a bad decision going after a man who he [incorrectly] thought was planning on doing him harm. And, a man who thought that he was protecting the neighborhood that met up with him and defended himself. The result was tragic.

It is time for reason to prevail - and for all who are following this case, to accept the outcome and move on.

Very simple really: Martin drew first blood. Zimmerman could not have done that to himself. Martin could not have done that after being shot through the heart.

Genesis 9:6
Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

Calling Martin’s death a tragedy is no different than calling a tragedy to a rapist who is killed in the act. They both had it coming. But for his gun, GZ may well be dead now or paralyzed.

Precisely

The real 'tragedy' is the year-long travesty perpetrated against GZ by agents of the state at several levels.

I appreciate it.

With Obama in the WH and Holder at DOJ, this is not going to change, or end well. Both are racist rabble rousers at best. They have their positions and have built their careers around race, and they will not change or let go.

Zimmerman is going to be hounded by DOJ. Obama will continue his racist rants. Things will get no better.

What they are doing, of course, is actually ENCOURAGING racism in white people by their very actions. Look for the KKK or similar white supremacist groups to rise and prosper, especially in bad economic times. Whites are well armed, what do you think the "gun control" push is all about.. Holder and Obama will provide the anger and injustice to ignite racial divisions. Count on it.

Martin caused his own death and was the instigator. He was suspended from school for a reason.””’

IF he hadn’t been suspended from school for his bad behavior—he would NOT have been in that complex in the first place.

It is time for his family to really understand how much Trayvon contributed to his own demise.

“It is time for his family to really understand how much Trayvon contributed to his own demise.”

They might want to take a good, long, hard look in a mirror, too.

Thomas Sowell agrees with me too:

"Over the generations, black leaders have ranged from noble souls to shameless charlatans. After the success of the civil rights insurgency, the latter have come into their own, gaining money, power and fame by promoting racial attitudes and actions that are counterproductive to the interests of those they lead."

He says it better, though.
