Thank you. You're very kind.

My Rocket was old, too.

We adopted him as an adult who was supposedly "1-1/2" years old, but from the condition
of the label on his cage, we were pretty sure that 1-1/2 was far behind him. [smiles]

He was at least 17 when he passed on after spending 15 wonderful years with us.

We are so grateful for the time we had with him. He was an angel. He never once purposely
bit or scratched anyone, no matter what. Vets called him "a trooper."

Awww....Prayers for your comfort, too....hopefully some of what I’ve written helps you too. I’m planning on compiling all my experiences into an article.

Since you like to write, Laz (and have a talent for it) that would be good therapy, but really interesting to read. I’d like to read it and know more about Cathy. You mentioned you have Zippy? What is he like — and what does the name mean? Nice looking kitty in that picture.

I’m not very good with naming cats. My first was called ‘Amosandandy’, when I was a little kid. (long time ago)I thought that the radio show, with those two characters, was one word! Then there was ‘Elmer’, a female who was going to go to the glue factory if she didn’t behave. We now have Pansy the 13th. (First Pansy was found sniffing Pansies) and Daisy the 3rd. Ant then there was dear Teddy, (sob) because he was a cuddly softie. Not very creative!
